If it’s the standard windows drivers, you’re out of luck I suppose?

Just looked at a keyspan adapter. I understand the cutter has a serial to USB conversion and I did everything fi should. You’re also trying to use the built-in usb port of the cutter, pcut ct630 usb in itself is enough info to start solving your problems.

Pcut ct630 usb, that probably explains it. So if you’re stuck with a straight USB connection, you’re also stuck with Windows oddities in dealing with them. We can guess you’re running some version of windows since you mention ‘device manager’.

As far as using the built-in pcut ct630 usb of the cutter. I bought an adapter but couldn’t find the Keyspan brand and the one i bought didn’t work so be sure to get one that people have had success with assuming you can find the serial port on your machine to even use. Yes, it’s just a USB to serial adapter, but this one actually works. Hey guys I have a creation ct USB version. By messing around and changing USB port and plugging pcut ct630 usb USB cable in and out while the cutter is on sometimes solves pcht problem and the cutter gets recognised as it should and it gets assigned a com port as it should.
