• The Ace: A variation. All of the alien forms present in the Omnitrix are actually the optimal genetic specimen of their species. Basically, they're to their species as Captain America is to humanity (peak and perfect physical condition.) Best seen with Bullfrag when compared to the rest of the Incursians: Bullfrag is taller than the average human and has a Heroic Build, whereas the malnourished Inkursean soldiers are skinny and human-sized.
• Hour of Power: It can only sustain transformation for 10 minutes at a time, without Master Control.
• Black Box: Ben has no idea how the Omnitrix works at the beginning of the story; the best he can do is turning and pushing the dial. This frequently causes him to take the wrong transformation, turn back to normal at the wrong time or merely make mistakes.
• Chest Insignia: The Omnitrix's symbol will appear somewhere on the body of every alien it transforms its wearer into. Most commonly in the center of the chest, but it does vary for some.
• Clingy MacGuffin: The thing is stuck on Ben's wrist. This prevents villains from simply taking it from him. Though by the last season of Alien Force this is no longer true, as Ben knows exactly how to remove the thing whenever he wants. He just doesn't want to.
• Discard and Draw: Since Ben can only use one transformation at the time, his set of powers will change according to which form he is using.
  • The Omnitrix, due to housing far more potential alien forms than any one user could hope to sort through, generally operates in sets of ten randomly selected (though generally balanced) forms. Though others can be unlocked later, it will default to another set of ten if left inactive for too long, requiring older forms to be re-unlocked.
• Early Installment Weirdness: When Ben first finds it, it behaves more akin to a Body Horror-prone piece of Organic Technology; it unhinges quite viscerally from the front, like a blob of slime and the internals (including the section below the faceplate, which is depicted as a self-contained piece of hardware) are noticeably devoid of the hallmark green-and-black circuitry. By the time of 'Back With A Vengeance', it unhinges more measuredly and precisely but from the back, and in the movie, Azmuth removes the faceplate, which is shown to have more components attached than in the pilot. Likewise, the original series depicted it as growing with its wearer (the first seen Ben 10,000's was drastically bulkier than both those of Ben 10 and Ken 10), a detail which none of the later series incorporated.
• Emerald Power: The Omnitrix's signature color is green, which also happens to be the favorite color of both Azmuth and Ben.
• Empathic Weapon: Strongly hinted; the Omnitrix is never specifically stated to possess a will of its own, but it does act like it had one occasionally. This is explicitly confirmed by Ben in the franchise finale. The Omnitrix has a fail-safe that will turn him into whatever form is necessary to avoid his death.
• Flanderization: The Omnitrix's tendency to give Ben the wrong alien started out as only occasional, only to get worse over the course of the Original Series and even worse by the time of Omniverse, where it ends up becoming a surprise when he actually gets the alien he wants. It has reached a point where Ben doesn't even try to select an alien and just push the dial while hoping for the best. He complains about this to Azmuth, who merely blames Ben's lack of dexterity and habit of smacking the watch too hard (it's worth noting that Ben at times has visibly selected the wrong alien and failed to notice).
  • Averted in the reboot series: In the first half of Season 1, Ben got quite regularly the wrong alien, but it was implied it was due to his inexperience with the device, along with it still being a prototype. It only ever happened once in Season 2 ('The 11th Alien: Part 1') after Upgrade rebooted the watch, and has barely happened in Season 3 (as of now, only in 'Baby Buktu' does Ben get the wrong alien).
• Eyes Are Mental: Though this wasn't the case in the original series, from Alien Force onwards, all of Ben's transformations have green eyes, just like Ben himself. This is why he wore sunglasses when he infiltrated the Incurseans as Bullfrag.
• Forgot About His Powers: Ben rarely seems to remember that he can switch forms simply by tapping the Omnitrix symbol, wherever it's located on his body. In one episode, he accidentally changes into Whampire during the day in a desert, and runs around in agony, burning to death until Max taps the Omnitrix and changes him to Four Arms.
• Fusion Dance:
  • In the original series, when the Omnitrix's faceplate was removed, it resulted in alien fusions with severe disadvantages.
    • Stinkfly + Four Arms = Stink Arms. Four Arms's weight made it difficult to fly, and he was also weaker than Four Arms.
    • Diamondhead + Grey Matter = Diamond Matter. Grey Matter's size with Diamondhead's abilities. Naturally, he's much weaker than Diamondhead.
    • Heatblast + Ripjaws = Heat Jaws. This form not only had weaker flames than Heatblast, but his own heat very quickly dries out the Ripjaws portion, nearly causing him to suffocate himself. Turns out this form is actually not as bad as what Ben thought it to be initially, as going underwater strengthened his fire powers. He is also stronger than Ripjaws.
  • Ben 10,000 in Omniverse can do this at will with his Biomnitrix. With control to which aliens to use, he can create fusions that are actually advantageous.
    • Four Arms + Humungousaur = Fourmungousaur. Humungousaur's body, Four Arms's features and high jumping ability, and the combined strength of both.
    • Atomix + Alien X = Atomic X. Just as broken as it sounds(barring the inability to stop a Chronosapien Time Bomb). Demonstrated abilities include teleportation, super-strength that is able to send Vilgax flying with a flick of the finger, and the creation of black holes.
    • Crashhopper + Shocksquatch + Crashocker. Crashopper's body and leaping ability, and Shocksquatch's features and electrical power.
    • Upgrade + Jury Rigg = UpRigg. Jury Rigg's body, Upgrade's metal skin, and the combined technological talents of both.
    • Way Big + Upchuck = Big Chuck. A smaller version of Way Big's body, with Upchuck-like dimensions and face. He has a portion of Way Big's strength, and Upchuck's regurgitative powers.
    • Humungousaur + Goop = Humungoopsaur. Humungousaur's strength and size with Goop's gelatinous body.
  • In the reboot episode 'The Innervasion' Ben due to being inside the Omnitrix was able to merge the Dnas of Four Arms, XLR8, Diamondhead and Heatblast in a single super powerful alien, with the combined powers of the four and no negative drawback.
• Imported Alien Phlebotinum: It was built by the First Thinker Azmuth and supposed to be delivered to Max Tennyson on Earth but Ben found it, and since his DNA was close enough to Max's, it accepted him.
• Informed Ability: The Omnitrix used in Omniverse is supposed to be a perfected version of the original Omnitrix, but it has yet to display anything the original Omnitrix couldn't do, is more likely to give Ben an alien he doesn't want, and has a shorter time limit to stay in alien form. On the other hand, it has no cooldown time between transformations, allows him to return to human form whenever he wants, and damage taken while in alien form doesn't carry over into human form. While the problems were later vaguely explained by Azmuth as Ben being too rough with it, the device itself still has yet to show any improvement over the original Omnitrix, or even the Ultimatrix.
  • The shorter time limit and lack of cooldown also are something of a Series Continuity Error, seeing how the flashback sequences that feature the 11-year-old Ben have the original Omnitrix function in exactly the same way.
• Loyal Phlebotinum: Well, it can work on someone else technically, but once it has chosen a host, removing it is a difficult prospect at best (without intricate knowledge of its operation, anyway). The Omnitrix used in Omniverse is designed to only work for Ben. Unfortunately, this means that any sufficient change to Ben's biometrics by outside sources can render it mostly inoperable.
• Magic Pants: Whenever Ben transforms, his clothes either adapt to his new form (most of the aliens in the Original Series and Omniverse) or disappear (in Alien Force and Ultimate Alien), only to come back when he turn back to human in both case. Notably, Word of God actually did give an explanation for that (at least in Alien Force); nanomachines inside the Omnitrix break down his clothes and store them until his transformation ends. Presumably, the same nanomachines also modify them to fit the alien forms in the other series.
• The Mind Is a Plaything of the Body: Certain forms change Ben's personality as well, such as Brainstorm and Grey Matter making him smarter, or him becoming a Boisterous Bruiser as Rath.
• Mon: An unusual example, as the aliens don't fight for humans, but the humans become the monsters themselves.
• Multiform Balance: With over 1,000,000 alien forms with varying powers, the Omnitrix can allow its wearer to adapt to any situation imaginable. In theory, anyway.
• New Powers as the Plot Demands: Forms occasionally display abilities never hinted at before or ever seen again handwaved by Man of Action as 'Omnitrix glitches'.
• Omniscient Database: The Codon Stream, for the previous models. Since the Codon Stream and Primus have been erased from continuity, the Omnitrix in Omniverse doesn't rely on the Codon Stream, instead having all of the DNA stored within itself in a computerized form.
• Recurring Element: The first alien Ben used was Heatblast. Following this, generally the first alien anyone uses for the first time is Heatblast or comparable.
  • The first alien Kevin hybridized with after absorbing the Omnitrix was Heatblast. This was also the first power he demonstrated at the end of his episode. The first alien Gwen transforms into is Heatblast as well (natch given it was a retelling of Ben's origin with Gwen instead)
  • The first mutation Dr. Amino causes with the Omnitrix's faceplate creates a giant Heatblast/bat hybrid.
  • Bothmovies released during original series run used Heatblast as first alien.
  • The first alien he transforms into in Alien Force is Swampfire, an Expy combining the general abilities of Heatblast and Wildvine. The first Half-Human Hybrid they find as the story arc builds is Half-Heatblast.
  • The first Ultimate Alien he tries out is Ultimate Swampfire. The first alien that younger Ben transforms into after being brought to the future is Heatblast.
  • The first alien form that Alpha absorbs from the Ultimatrix is Heatblast.
  • The first alien predator introduced in Omniverse is Crabdozer, Heatblast's predator. The first compositeform Khyber uses after shacking up with Skurd was Crabdozer as well.
• Running Gag: The Omnitrix turning into the wrong alien. However, without this Ben would only have 10 aliens.
• Palette Swap: Used for the Emerald Power color-scheme to differentiate Alternate Universe users that aren't direct past, future or contemporary counterparts to Ben.
• Self-Destruct Mechanism: One that can destroy the universe, given it's allowed to charge for a few days. Giving it a duration of less than a minute (30 seconds) makes it just powerful enough to blow a human's arm off.
• Shapeshifting is the power it grants Ben and the forms available for shifting can escalate upwards forever.
• Shapeshifter Mode Lock: The Life-Form lock function allows Ben to lock himself into an alien form for an extended period of time. He uses it to infiltrate the Incursean army as Bullfrag.
  • Blukic and Driba developed a microchip that can perform the same function.
• Split-Personality Takeover: Has fail-safes in place to prevent sampled DNA from overriding the personality of the user. This is a Mythology Gag with every ghost-like alien Ben has going back to Ghostfreak who planned this intentionally. Often bypassed in normal function by natural biological changes such as reproductive cycles as seen with Big Chill.
• Suddenly Voiced: From Alien Force onward.
• Super Wrist-Gadget: It looks like a techno wristwatch
• Suspiciously Similar Substitute: The Ultimatrix.
• Too Spicy for Yog-Sothoth: Malware tried to absorb the Omnitrix during the time Ben was eleven. When he destroyed Feedback, Ben, out of rage, let him try to absorb it... and it caused him to explode. He survived, but that's still impressive.
• Took a Level in Badass / Super Mode: The Ultimatrix's Ultimate Alien forms as a result of simulating what would happen if that alien went through a million years of civil war and thus evolving to be more combat-oriented.
• Transformation Trinket: Into dozens of aliens.
• Troll: If Ben wants Four Arms, he'll get Grey Matter. If he wants Grey Matter, he'll get Ghostfreak. If he wants Ghost Freak, he'll get Cannonbolt. While sometimes the Omnitrix knows better than Ben, other times the randomness can only be attributed to it being a jerk (or, according to Azmuth, Ben being too rough with the device). The most notable example is the occasion when it turned Ben into Rath, the only feline alien Ben had, in front of a villainess who could mind-control felines.
  Ben: Sometimes... I think this thing hates me.
• Universal Translator: Has one built in.
• Younger Than They Look: Ben's transformations are the same age as him or at least an equivalent for that species.

Original Series Aliens

Arctiguana/Ultimate Arctiguana (OS-27)

Arctiguana's DNA was sampled from a Polar Manzardills, an alien species that is somewhere between a lizard and a fish. They have the ability to breathe frozen vapor which can be used as a weapon, provided they aren't out of breath.

Ben 23's version is named Freezelizard.

• Ascended Extra: He was only seen as one of Ben 10,000's aliens in future episodes of the Original Series while the alternate version of Ben 10,000 had also used him Ultimate Alien. Present Ben uses him for the first time in Omniverse.
• Backpack Cannon: Ultimate Arctiguana has two ice cannons on his back.
• Breakout Character: Part of the reason he appears more may be the fact that he's a fan-favorite alien.
• Breath Weapon: Ice breath to be accurate.

• Evolution Power-Up: Though the full extent of Ultimate Arctiguana's powers are unknown, his evolved state gains two large cannons that are attached to his back, and he can shoot fully formed icebergs instead of just freeze rays.
• Facial Markings: Black stripes across his face.
• An Ice Person: His sole power is ice breath.
• Just a Stupid Accent: Omniverse has him speak in a Jamaican accent.
• Overshadowed by Awesome: Big Chill has the same power along with flight and intangibility.
• Shout-Out: The cannons on his Ultimate form give him a resemblance to the Pokémon Blastoise.
• Super Not-Drowning Skills: Arctiguana can breathe underwater.

Blitzwolfer (Benwolf) (OS-31)

Blitzwolfer's DNA was sampled from a Loboan, a werewolf-like species from the moon Luna Lobo which orbits the planet Anur Transyl. A wooded moon, Luna Lobo's landscape is prowled with a race of cunning wolf-beasts with a thirst of blood. While these feral creatures mostly hunt in packs, it is a lone wolf beast that often proves to be the most savage of all. Loboans have natural strength, speed, agility, and heightened senses that make them the top predator on Luna Lobo. They also have the ability split their mouth into four parts and perform a sonic howl.

• Dark Is Not Evil: According to Word of God, there are good and evil Loboans, but their social norms are not the same as humans.
• Lightning Bruiser: He possess a decent amount of superhuman strength, plus a quite impressive natural speed.
• Line-of-Sight Name: When Kai refers to the alien as Benwolf in Omniverse, Ben immediately claims to have changed the name, but can't think of a replacement name until he spots Wolf Blitzer on TV.
• Make Me Wanna Shout: His signature ability consist in open his mouth in four mandibles to generate a powerful Sonic Scream.
• Metamorphosis: Due to (according to Man of Action) the Omnitrix being stuck between 'transforming' and 'sampling DNA' functions when the DNA was sampled, Ben's first transformation into this form was gradual, with his skin turning blue, fur growing on him and the instinct partially taking over him.
• Noble Wolf: When Mr. 'It's Hero Time' becomes a wolf, than yes.
• One-Shot Character: He only appeared in one episode of the original series and didn't appear again until Omniverse. Dialogue from his return episode strongly implies that Ben never used him in the interim.
• Our Werewolves Are Different: They're aliens from Luna Lobo, a moon orbiting around Anur Transyl. They obviously don't have a human form and don't infect people by biting (though it was initially believed by the characters they did in Benwolf-see Metamorphosis above). And they have the ability to generate a powerful Sonic Howl.
• Retcon: Originally, it was stated that all Loboan cubs had green eyes like him, and that all adult Loboans had red and pale orange eyes. Come Omniverse, Blitzwolfer still has green eyes just like the rest of Ben's transformations, and other adult Loboans have varying eye colors.
• Space Jews: In Omniverse, he is renamed after Jewish journalist and news anchor Wolf Blitzer and his accent sounds vaguely Jewish as well.
• Suddenly Voiced: Just like for Snare-oh, the alien his DNA was sampled from couldn't talk except through growls. Ben, on the other hand, can vocally express himself just fine.

Buzzshock (OS-27)

Buzzshock was sampled from a Nosedeenian, also known as Megawhatts, from the Nosedeen Quasar.

• Ascended Extra: Like Arctiguana, he originally only appeared in “Ben 10,000”.
• Me's a Crowd: Can duplicate if he has enough energy, or if he's cut in half.
• Overshadowed by Awesome: When Ben 10,000 used him in the original series, he seemed like a perfectly viable alien with a unique power. When Ben actually unlocks him in Omniverse, he has already unlocked several electric aliens who can do what Buzzshock does and are either better at it or more versatile ^Note . The only technique Buzzshock possesses that is unique to him among the electric-based aliens is Self-Duplication but Ben has two other aliens who can use it without needing to absorb electicity or being cut in half.
• Shock and Awe: Holds the distinction of being the first electrokinetic alien introduced, though not the first one Ben gained the ability to turn into.
• Suddenly Voiced: Has understandable speech, unlike the other Nosedeenians.
• The Trickster: Not Buzzshock himself, but Megawhatts as a species are well-known for constantly wreaking havoc due to their love of pranks and mischievous nature.

Cannonbolt/Ultimate Cannonbolt (OS-15, UA-06)

Cannonbolt's DNA was sampled from a Arburian Pelarota, a shelled species widely believed to be extinct after the destruction of their homeworld by a being called the Great One.

Ben 23's version is named Rollaway.

• All There in the Manual: Ultimate Cannonbolt can supposedly fire his spikes, but this is never shown.
• Back for the Finale: He made its Alien Force debut in 'War of the Worlds'.
• Everything's Better with Spinning: Though it's a forward thrust thing, not just in place like a top.
• Evolution Power-Up: Downplayed compared to most of Ben's ultimate aliens. Cannonbolt's current evolutionary stage already excels in combat efficiency so much that his perfect evolved form becomes only slightly more durable and bouncier in addition to just adding spikes.
• Grievous Harm with a Body: Namely, his own.
• Heart Is an Awesome Power: His sole power is to curl up into a ball and throw himself at the enemy in Rolling Attacks. Sounds pretty lame, right? Well, not so much when your body possesses a shell that can resist atmospheric re-entry. He actually is one of Ben's most used aliens.
• Hyper-Destructive Bouncing Ball: In the original series, he bounced around wildly like a pinball. This is averted in Alien Force and Ultimate Alien, where Cannonbolt is slower, and in Omniverse, where he has more control.
• Last of His Kind: Possibly, seeing how his planet was destroyed by the Great One.
• Promotion to Opening Titles: In the original series, replacing Ghostfreak.
• Rolling Attack: His main thing is rolling around.
• Unbreakable Weapons: His shell has been shown, on at least one occasion, to withstand being stabbed by Petrosapien crystal. He survived falling back to the Earth from re-entry!
• What Kind of Lame Power Is Heart, Anyway??: Ben had this opinion when he first got him and that opinion became subverted by the end of the episode and onwards.

Diamondhead (OS-01)

Diamondhead's DNA was sampled from a Petrosapien, a race of green aliens comprised entirely of a diamond-like organic structure from planet Petropia. Petropia is a craggy, geode-like planet where silicon-based beings evolved to build a complex society of separate underground kingdoms. While there are several different gem-based races, from ruby to emerald to sapphire, each with its own distinct abilities and culture, most Petrosapiens now coexist peacefully. The planet is well-known for having been destroyed by Vilgaxand later rebuilt by their guardian Sugilite.

Petrosapiens are crystalline beings whose bodies are formed entirely out of opaque gemstones and whose rock-hard physiologies make them all virtually invulnerable to physical attack. While jewel-like in appearance, Petrosapiens are no pretty boys. Their diamond-hard bodies make these fearsome warriors incredibly tough. Shards of the razor-sharp crystals jut out at numerous odd angles from their heads and bodies, discouraging physical contact, and also act as powerful weapons that can turn a car into confetti in a matter of seconds. Combined with their increased strength, Petrosapiens' shredding appendages can be especially devastating. Living prisms, Petrosapiens can refract light and beam-based weaponry, channeling them through their bodies and projecting them back at their source. Petrosapiens are particularly vulnerable to sonic vibrations. While a stereo blast might cause them to splinter, certain ultra-high-pitched sound waves can cause them to shatter - and no glue in this galaxy or the next can put a Petrosapien back together again.

• Blade Below the Shoulder: Not naturally, but he can shape his hands into ones.
• Gemstone Assault: This is his signature ability.
• Glass Cannon: Literally, though in a technical point of view, it's averted; Diamondhead actually is one of Ben's most durable aliens, as his crystal skin is extremely durable and he can regenerate his limbs.
• Healing Factor: His ability to shape himself gives him a very limited self-healing ability.
• Lantern Jaw of Justice: He has one in Omniverse. It’s as prominent as Alien X's, but it's still present.
• Nigh-Invulnerability: He is made of diamond-hard crystal, and even if you succeed in damaging him, he can regenerate. The only thing that has been shown to damage him permanently is sonic attacks.
• Power Crystal: A living one at that.
• Shapeshifter Weapon: He has entire control over his physiology, allowing him to shapeshift his arms into blades, project crystal shards and many other uses.
• Stealth Pun: Diamondhead is durable, but he can crack under enough pressure. He's a Glass Cannon!
• Suspiciously Similar Substitute: To Chromastone in the season three premiere of Alien Force.
• Took a Level in Badass: While he was already one of Ben's favorites in the original series, when he returned in Alien Force, he gained telekinetic control over his crystals and the ability to make them explode. He ended up trouncing Vilgax despite the fact that he had previously been unable to scratch him. He does not retain these abilities in Omniverse.

Ditto (OS-41)

Ditto's DNA was sampled from a Splixson, a race of small humanoids able to create unlimited duplicates of themselves. The clones are all linked telepathically meaning they share thoughts and feelings, including pain.

• Awesome, but Impractical: In spite of the fact he can outnumber his enemies, the clones all share the same pain, getting separated long distances results in a much longer Omnitrix time-outs and they don't have much offensive power otherwise. Omniverse removes the pain restriction, but they're still fairly weak.
• Badass Adorable: He's an adorable alien that's around the height of a kid who likes praying pranks. However, he managed to destroy an army of mutant bugs in his debut episode.
• Doppelgänger Attack: He's only effective in combat when he takes advantage of his ability to surround his opponents.
• Ensemble Dark Horse: In-universe example as Ben mentions in Omniverse that according to websites, this alien form is a fan-favorite amongst girls, who consider him cute.
• Expy: Of the Warner Brothers.
• Flanderization: The Expy side was fairly subtle in the Original Series; in Omniverse, he is redesigned with more animal-like features and acts much more like them, down to having a chase scene based on their gags.
• Lethal Joke Character: While physically one of Ben's weakest aliens, he can be effective when used creatively.
• Me's a Crowd: His power.
• Overshadowed by Awesome: Echo Echo (an alien form introduced in Alien Force) possesses the same power as Ditto without the Weaksauce Weakness and adds a sonic scream to it, making him much more useful than Ditto.
• Retcon: In the Original Series, his duplication power had a very specific way of working; he split himself in half to duplicate, each clone was independent, they all felt each other's pain, and the death of even one of them would cause all the others to die. They wouldn't transform back into Ben until all of them were close enough to fuse back together, and would be pulled toward each other when they get close enough. In Omniverse, his duplication power works similarly to that of Echo Echo with his clones appearing in a flash of green light, being able to vanish, and apparently all vanishing automatically when the original turns back to normal. His weakness was now that 'if the original dies they all die'.
• Tunnel King: In Omniverse; doubles as New Powers as the Plot Demands.
• Weak, but Skilled: Compared to other aliens, Ditto is rather weak and lacks any strong power, but this can be balanced by using his ability to be in various places at the same time if you have a good sense of tactics.
• Weaksauce Weakness: The clones all feel each others' pain. If even a single one of them dies, they all die. This was retconned in Omniverse as 'if the original dies, they all die'.

Eye Guy (OS-48)

Eye Guy's DNA was sampled from an Opticoid, a reptilian race with 17 eyes across their body. Though none are on their face.

• An Ice Person: He can fire ice lasers from some of his eyes.
• Butt-Monkey: Omniverse frequently puts him in places where his multiple eyes does more harm than good (such as getting drenched in an eye irritant alien's saliva).
• Chest Blaster: His strongest beam comes from a giant eye in his torso. He usually has to close the others to fire it.
• Creepy Good: Half-bat, half-reptile, and eyes all over its body. He actually looks so much creepy that he was almost rejected by production because of it.
• Early-Bird Cameo: He appeared for the first time in an alternate scene of Secret of the Omnitrix's opening scene but chronologically appeared first in 'Ben 10 vs. The Negative 10, Part 2'.
• Exactly What It Says on the Tin: Amusingly, he's the only alien for which Ben and Ben 23 share the same name, which leads to Ben admitting that the name is lame.
• Extra Eyes: Has eyes everywhere, except where they should be.
• Eyeless Face: His face is the only place on his body without eyes.
• Eyes Do Not Belong There: He has eyes on his chest, on his limbs, on his torso...
• Eye Beams: Every eye can fire a laser beam. Some eyes have a different type of laser.
• Frickin' Laser Beams: Most of his eyes shoot simple energy blasts.
• Playing with Fire: One of his eyes can shoot beams of fire.
• Pungeon Master: In Omniverse, he has a tendency to make puns involving sight and the word 'eye'.
  Freezeghost (Ben 23): Cool. Get it?
  Eye Guy (Ben): Dude, watch the puns! Pretty soon, you use up all the eyeconic ones, and they just get cornea and cornea!
• Wall Crawling: He can cling to walls.

Four Arms (OS-02)

Four Arms' DNA was sampled from a Tetramand, powerful 12 foot tall aliens with four arms and armor plated skin from planet Khoros. Khoros is a dusty and barbaric world where might makes right and survival is a constant struggle. Due to constant conflict, the planet's culture has long devolved, turning from a confederation of thriving city states into a scorched and boundless wasteland. Nomadic tribes ruled by bloodthirsty warlords ceaselessly roam the landscape, seeking out relics of Khoros' past glory, all in hopes of rediscovering the secrets that will gain them advantage over their enemies.

Ben 23's version is named Handy Man.

• Badass Mustache: He ditches the long hair for one of these in Omniverse to give him a carnival strongman look.
• The Big Guy: The biggest of Ben's aliens for most of the original series, and the one used primarily for tasks requiring strength.
• Destructive Savior: He's got super strength, but he's a bit clumsy from time to time.
• In a Single Bound: Not one of his main powers, but he can do it.
• Leeroy Jenkins: Most notable in the original series; when ever Ben would act incredibly impulsive during a fight, chances are he'd turn into Four Arms. Granted, an alien of this case make that sort of strategy rather effective.
• Lightning Bruiser: While not the fastest of aliens, he's still speedy, super-strong and has the ability to jump over skyscrapers.
• Multi-Armed and Dangerous: Obviously.
• Proud Warrior Race Guy: Not Fourarms himself, but Tetramands as a species are this.
• Punny Name: Forearms = Four Arms = 4 arms
• Shockwave Clap: By slapping all four hands together he can generate a sonic shockwave.
• Super Strength: His main power.
• Spotlight-Stealing Squad: He is Ben's favorite alien and had the tendency of appearing for a significant amount of times in the original series. Toned down in the sequels, as Ben couldn't access him again until Ultimate Alien. Played straight again in Omniverse, he is tied with XLR8 and Feedback as the most used transformation.
• Vocal Evolution: Richard McGonagle uses a deep growling voice early on in season 1 of the original series. By season 2, he uses the higher gargling tone Four Arms is known for.

Frankenstrike (Benvicktor) (OS-38)

Frankenstrike's DNA was sampled from a Transylian, a race of large humanoids who augment themselves with powerful technology from Anur Transyl. They have the appearance of Frankenstein's monster.

Anur Transyl used to be home of two different races, the Transylians and the Vladats. Transylians — specifically their blood — were the Vladat's main source of food. The Transylians eventually rebelled against the Vladats, and, using superior technology that they had developed in secret, they hunted all Vladats on Anur Transyl into extinction and became the dominant species on their world.

Ben 23's version is named Lightning Volt.

• Ascended Extra: He only made one appearance in the original series, but returned and is featured in more than one episode in Omniverse.
• Batman Can Breathe in Space: Frankenstrike can indeed.

• Cyborg: Somehow, his mechanical parts are natural, since the Omnitrix reproduces them.
• Dark Is Not Evil: Ben doesn't become any less heroic while using this guy.
• Expy: Of both Dr. Frankenstein andhis monster.
• Flesh Golem: His Omniverse design looks like his body is stitched together, with the body parts being different colors.
• Flip-Flop of God: Derrick Wyatt recently said that Super Intelligence is not a common Transylian trait, and that Frankenstrike doesn't possess it. Then Frankenstrike's Omniverse debut has him demonstrating mechanical knowledge Ben lacks, shorting out a car battery to stop a car.
• Frankenstein's Monster: He is based on one.
• Genius Bruiser: Although it's not really shown in-story, it was confirmed by Word of God that Transylians possess some amount of Super Intelligence (though not as high as Grey Matter).
• In a Single Bound: He's a surprisingly good jumper.
• Mighty Glacier: Debatably; Dr Viktor still displayed the ability to backhand XLR8 and knock him out, but was otherwise this.
• No Name Given: He was never named on-screen, only being given the name Benvicktor in the credits of “Be Afraid of the Dark”. He, along with Benwolf (Blitzwolfer) and Benmummy (Snare-Oh) have been renamed in Omniverse.
• Progressively Prettier: Inverted. His design◊ in Omniverse is much uglier than the one he had back in the original series.
• Shock and Awe: Ben's first, and largely ignored, electrokinetic alien.
• Shout-Out: To Mary Shelley's Frankenstein.
• Steam Punk: Anur Transyl is like this, as is Frankenstrike himself.
• Super Reflexes: Dr. Vicktor was able to backhand a speeding XLR8 (and he wasn't even aware of Ben's presence before that).
• Super Strength: Dr. Vicktor could go toe to toe with Fourarms.
• Technopath: Frankenstrike wasn't seen doing any of this, but his genetic donor operated several machines (and even a rocket engine) by plugging them into the towers on his back.
• The Dog Bites Back: According to the species' backstory, the Transylians started out as the Vladats' slaves and power supply, resulting in them eventually rebelling and exterminating the Vladats.

Ghostfreak (OS-04)

Ghostfreak's DNA was sampled from an Ectonurite, a race of incorporeal ghost-like aliens from Anur Phaetos. Though many legends have long spoken of it as the center where galactic chaos springs forth, not much is known about the shadowy world of Anur Phaetos. Some say it is more a dimensional realm than a planet. Since no voyager has ever returned to tell tales of a visit and there is scant evidence as to the true nature of its existence, Anur Phaetos remains the galaxy’s most dangerous mystery.

It's later revealed the Ectonurite DNA for Ghostfreak was sampled from Zs'Skayr, the Ecto-Lord of Anur Phaetos.

• Adapted Out: He is not present among Ben's original 10 aliens in the reboot, having been replaced with Cannonbolt.
• A Day in the Limelight: 'Ghostfreaked Out' revolves around him breaking free from the Omnitrix.
• And I Must Scream: Unlike other species sampled for the Omnitrix, even the smallest sample of DNA contains an Ectonurite's consciousness. A copy of Zs'Skayr's consciousness was subsequently trapped inside the Omnitrix and fully aware the entire time. His fight with Zombozo showed signs of Zs'Skayr taking over.
• Badass Boast: To Zombozo in 'Last Laugh':

  Ben/Ghostfeak: I just figured out there's something I'm even more afraid of than you: (punches Zombozo and turns invisible) losing my family to some goofball emotional vampire. In other words... (punches Zombozo by the nose and turns invisible again) ... you're going down, clown.

• Chained by Fashion: He has these as part of his design in 'Omniverse'◊.
• Combat Tentacles: Omniverse shows that that the tentacles under his second skin are strong enough to lift a bus full of people.
• Confusion Fu: It's hard to figure out where he going to come at you from if he makes effective use of his invisibility.
• Creepy Good/Dark Is Not Evil: Ben can get very creepy when he turns into Ghostfreak, but he remains a good guy... as long as Zs'Skayr doesn't take over.
• Cyclops: he has a single eye, which can move on every part of his body.
• Dangerous Forbidden Technique: Even after regaining the form, Ben was afraid to use it due to the fear of Zs'Skayr taking over. Now that Zs'Skayr is no longer in the Omnitrix, Ghostfreak exists independently from him, so this no longer an issue. However, the fact that the presence of Charmcaster's stone creatures forced the Omnitrix to limit Ben's selection only to Ghostfreak, and Zs'Skayr emerging after Darkstar's ritual was foiled indicates that they might still be connected somehow.
• The Dreaded: Both Ben and Kevin were wary of assuming this form even before they found out why.
• Eyes Do Not Belong There: Can move his eye around his body while in his second skin. Without it his eye is stuck in place because his head is a skull.
• Grand Theft Me: Heroic example. He defeats Darkstar by possessing his body. Before that, however, Zs'Skayr existed as Ghostfreak, and his personality slowly overwhelmed Ben's over time the more he used the form.
• Horrifying the Horror: Ben managed to scare the crap out of Zombozo just by using this form.
• Intangible Man: He wouldn't be called Ghostfreak if he didn't have these powers. Though there are chemicals that can neutralize this ability.
• Informed Ability: The Bandai profile mentions Ectonurites possess some amount of psychic powers. Ben was never seen using those abilities as Ghostfreak. Zs'Skayr, on the other hand... Ben, inexperienced as he was at the time, likely didn't know about them. Also, Zs'Skayr was only seen using those abilities in his true form, which Ben never used.
• Mook Horror Show: Famous for delivering one of the greatest examples of this trope in the entire franchise to Zombozo.
• Our Ghosts Are Different: They are a species of aliens from a mysterious sector called Anur Phaetos; they are connected through a Hive Mind that can manifest through even the slightest sample of their DNA; and they are Weakened by the Light, though they can wear a second skin to protect them from it, at the cost of weakening most of their powers. Said skin give them their ghost-like appearance, but behind it, they look like creatures with black-and-white tentacles writhing everywhere, an upside-down cyclopean skull and large claws.
  Omniverse dips closer to the conventional ghost; Ben boasts that, in this form, he is not technically alive and thus immune to Darkstar's Life Drain abilities. Word of God has stated that Ectonurites are alive; however, their concept of 'life' is very different from other sapient life forms.
• Story-Breaker Power: In a conflict against a single, powerful opponent, Ghostfreak can immediately end things by just turning invisible, flying up to them, and possessing them.
• Super-Powered Evil Side: Zs'Skayr started out as this before his Enemy Without. Ben now has complete control over Ghostfreak, as Zs'skayr is no longer inside the Omnitrix, and when he uses the form in 'Mystery, Incorporeal' he says that he still feels like himself.
• Took a Level in Badass: In the original series, Ghostfreak wasn't much good in a fight via the fact that he was too frail to do any serious damage and all Ben could do with him was turn invisible/intangible or try to scare people. In Omniverse, he can share his invisibility with others in addition to being immune to Life Drain and aware of how to use his possession abilities and his tentacles can launch out and are strong enough to hold a bus.
• Vocal Evolution: Steve Blum's performance in Omniverse is much less raspy and villainous-sounding. It fits because Ben is now in complete control of the form.
• Weakened by the Light: Though Ghostfreak wears a second skin that protects him from such a weakness. However, he is still vulnerable to fire.

Grey Matter/Ultimate Grey Matter (OS-02)

Grey Matter's DNA was sampled from a Galvan, a species consisting of small, incredibly intelligent frog-like beings from Galvan Prime. Despite its diminutive scale, Galvan Prime is one of the most scientifically advanced worlds in the galaxy. Miniature skyscrapers and ultra-fast causeways litter the landscape, leaving little room for nature. First kept as pets and then employed by other species as industrial technicians, spies and saboteurs, Galvans were smart enough to keep the best secrets for themselves, eventually amassing enough knowledge to build a powerful empire of their own. A chaotic world of intrigue and innovation, the coldly technocratic inhabitants of Galvan Prime work tirelessly and consume massive resources to keep an ever-tightening grip over their former masters.

Azmuth, the creator of the Omnitrix, is later revealed to be himself a Galvan.

Ben 23's version is named Brainfrog.

• Adaptational Badass: In the reboot: he isn't stronger than usual, but he has Awesomeness by Analysis like Brainstorm.
  • And then there is the Omni-Enhanced form...
• A Day in the Limelight: The Original Series episode 'A Small Problem' features Ben stuck as Grey Matter for almost the entire episode, with no other Omnitrix aliens making an appearance.
• Author Appeal: He is Derrick J. Wyatt's favourite alien. Not only is brought back in Omniverse as a result, but his species has much bigger role than in any previous entry of the franchise.
• Cephalothorax: Ultimate Grey Matter is a M.O.D.O.K.Expy, so naturally this is in play.
• Eye Beams: Ultimate Grey Matter can fire beams from his third eye which have the effect of negating Ben's transformations.
• Gadgeteer Genius: Even at 10 years old, Grey Matter possesses enough intelligence to work advanced machines and build highly advanced weapons.
• Heart Is an Awesome Power: Grey Matter's size makes him a fitting alien to escape bigger predators or hide, and his high intellect doesn't seem useless any more when you can use him to build a solar gun out of scraps. An even more extreme example in “Ken 10”, where Ken uses him to unlock the Master Code of his Omnitrix.
• Improbably High I.Q.: 'The Vengers' shows Brainstorm's IQ to be 10^30. If Galvans are truly smarter than Cerebrocrustaceans, then this trope must be in effect.
• Incredible Shrinking Man: Ben goes from whatever size he normally is, to about 6 inches tall.
• Informed Ability: While Word of God states that Galvans are smarter than Cerebrocrustaceans, in-universe the matter is up for debate. In fact, Brainstorm has done more with his Super Intelligence than Grey Matter has, running physics simulations in his head and accurately predicting every move his opponents will make, for example, while Grey Matter's Super Intelligence has so far mostly applied to technology, though given the long life span of Galvans (Azmuth is several thousands years old), it may be that it's a matter of age. Alternately, Brainstorm may just be a faster thinker.
  • Downplayed in the reboot, where Gray Matter does show Awesomeness by Analysis.
• Lethal Joke Character: Compared to most of Ben's other aliens, his powers seems pretty laughable and useless in a fight, but if well-used, he can become extremely useful and deadly. Not to mention his species is considered the closest thing the Ben 10 Universe has to a dominant species in the Galaxy.
• Mini-Mecha: His Omni-Enhanced form in the reboot puts him in one, adding (as he puts it) some brawns to his brains.
• My Brain Is Big: Ultimate Grey Matter, while being roughly the same size as the normal form, is mostly brain.
• Overshadowed by Awesome: While Grey Matter's high intelligence and small size were quite useful in the original series, Alien Force introduced Brainstorm, who also possesses high intelligence (though less so than Grey Matter, according to Word of God) and combines it with Shock and Awe and Mind over Matter. Then, Alien Swarm gave us Nanomech, who is even smaller than Grey Matter, can fly and shoot electrical blasts. Possibly to avert the trope, Derrick J. Wyatt established he was smarter than Brainstorm.
• Shorter Means Smarter: The smallest alien until the introduction of Nanomech and he's the smartest alien Ben has.
• Shout-Out: Ultimate Grey Matter's form looks quite similar to M.O.D.O.K.
• The Smart Guy: His main (and only) power is intelligence. As he has little to no physical ability (save for sharp teeth) he relies on his intellect to outsmart his enemies.
• Super Intelligence: Grey Matter is, according to Word of God, even smarter then Brainstorm, smart enough to operate complex technology on instinct, and build high-tech weapons from scraps.
• Wall Crawl: The mucus his skin secretes allows him to adhere to surfaces to climb them.
• What Kind of Lame Power Is Heart, Anyway?: When Ben was ten years old, Grey Matter was his least favorite alien because of the low physical ability.

Heatblast (OS-01)

Heatblast's DNA was sampled from a Pyronite, a race of magma-based aliens from Pyros. Of all the homeworlds in the galaxy, Pyros is unique in that it is actually a fully functioning sun. Pyros is a wide-open landscape of endless natural wonders: Infernal plumes erupt miles into the atmosphere, and raging rivers of molten lava cut massive swaths across the fire-filled tundra. Magma based, all of its inhabitants are composed of a flame-like energy. Drawing strength and nourishment from an almost limitless power source, this world's inhabitants are in need of little else.

Ben 23's version is named Charcoal Man.

• An Ice Person: Temporarily, when Ben catches a cold and it spreads to his alien forms.
• Convection Schmonvection: This alien is from, and is in essence, a walking talking sun. Nobody is harmed or complains about the heat from being in close proximity to him. He can even pick things up without burning them, and literally going supernova in one episode does nothing but evaporate the Fountain of Youth.
• Demoted to Extra: In a sense. He was one of Ben's most used aliens in the first season and he was used less in later seasons. Heck, in 'Ben 10 vs the Negative 10,' he appears for about five seconds, and is shown melting a metal barricade.
• Elemental Absorption: He can absorb fire.
• Elemental Powers:.
• Elemental Punch: As shown in his fight with Victor, he can wreath his hands in fire to increase the intensity of his punches.
• Flying Firepower: Initially not, but in later episodes Ben learned to use his fire abilities to propel himself in the air and fly.
  • Up to Eleven in the reboot, where his Omni-enhanced form has a jet pack.
• Human Aliens: According to Word of God, Pyronites have two forms; the molten rock form, and a form that looks very similar to humans. They can switch between the two at will.
• Jack-of-All-Stats: He can hit, possesses acceptable durability, flies with limited capabilities and can blast fire.
• Living Lava: He is literally this.
• One-Man Army: Downplayed. In the original series episode 'Secrets', he was easily able to one-shot an entire group of Vilgax's drones. In Ultimate Alien he was able to fight on par and defeat another One-Man Army in the form of Victor.
• Playing with Fire: He can produce fire, absorb it and wreathe parts of his body in it.
• The Power of the Sun: What with Pyronites being born on stars and all.
• Shout-Out: When his head goes out, his face looks like Iron Man.
• Super Speed: In the reboot his Omni-enhanced form can fly faster than XLR8 can run, as shown in 'High Stress Express'.
• Super Toughness: While not Ben's most durable alien, he was still able to get thrown through three buildings while on the receiving end of a Curb-Stomp Battle from Vilgax and was no worse for wear.
• Weaksauce Weakness: Subverted. Just pouring or spraying water on him isn't gonna kill him. One episode of the original series even has him swimming in a pool with no detriment, and his flames spark right up again the moment he gets out. Omniverse even has him able to produce enough heat underwater to melt metal.

Ripjaws (OS-03)

Ripjaws' DNA was sampled from a Piscciss Volann, a race of aquatic fish aliens from Pisciss. The water world of Piscciss is one of extreme danger. Thousands of exotic species live in a vast anarchic ocean of eat or be eaten. While most Pisccians live in schools because of the safety in numbers, there is still little feeling among these cold-blooded kinfolk. A world of strong currents and highly stratified environments, the deeper one dives on Piscciss, the darker and more dangerous it becomes.

While the Volanns are not the biggest fish in the Pisccian sea, they are definitely the most hazardous. A monstrous hybrid of alligator, eel and leech, Volanns are incredible swimmers who are amazingly fast and agile in the water. A Volanns' huge mouth filled with rows of razor-sharp teeth can chomp through almost anything. Their lower jaw unhinges, enabling them to grip large objects with the strength on an industrial-sized vise. Sinewy and covered in slimy scales, Volanns use their claw-tipped fins to fight in a unique 'zero gravity' style that makes them masters of aquatic combat. They can dive deep to the ocean’s floor, easily withstanding the crushing pressure while continuing to breathe through their gills. For all their skill in the water, Piscciss Volanns are unable to walk and are basically useless above the waves. Volanns must keep their gills wet or they'll dehydrate rapidly, which can actually result in their drowning on dry land. As members of their species grow older, however, their ability to spend time on dry land increases, making them more amphibious in adulthood.

• Adapted Out: He is not present among Ben's original ten aliens in the reboot, having been replaced by Overflow.
• Alluring Anglerfish: He's got the angler, but we've never seen it glow.
• Chuck Cunningham Syndrome: He does not appear at all in the third season of the original series.
  • His icon in the watch does appear in a few episodes and Ben explicitly attempts to transform into him twice; neither times is he successful, however.
• Creepy Good: Seriously, just look at his face.
• Crippling Overspecialization: He excels in mobility, territorial control, and power underwater, but this is undercut by the fact he needs water to breathe, and is thus mostly useless on dry land. Downplayed in the sequels, where he can spend more time above water, but his abilities are still too situational for him to get more use.
• Joke Character/Lightning Bruiser: He's the former on dry land, but in water, he becomes the latter.
• More Teeth than the Osmond Family: He has a lot of teeth in his mouth in the original series. In Ultimate Alien, he was given more traditional fish lips. The teeth returned in Omniverse.
• Our Mermaids Are Different: He has a unique Mermaid-like tail when he's underwater.
• Out of Focus: Appears the least out of the original 10 aliens, with the exception of Ghostfreak. Unlike Ghostfreak, whose lack of use was a specific plot point, Ripjaws just doesn't get used much.
• Retcon: Early supplementary material stated that Piscciss Volanns had no legs, and that Ripjaws' were created via the Omnitrix modifying his form. Secret of the Omnitrix debunked this by showing a criminal Volanns in Incarcecon, standing on legs just like Ripjaws, with all future Volanns featured in the franchise able to change from legs to tails like Ripjaws.
• Running Gag: A pair of minor ones:
  • If he's up against a water-based threat (especially in season 3), expect a few aliens that don't do well with water before Ripjaws shows up, if at all.
  • Conversely, expect about 50% or more of the transformations into Ripjaws to be accompanied with a complaint of the Omnitrix messing with Ben.
• Super Not-Drowning Skills: He's aquatic.
• This Looks Like a Job for Aquaman: Used almost specifically for aquatic environments, and is useless anywhere else.
  • One of the last times he was seen in the original series was when Ben used him in a beach episode. Surfing.
  • Although occasionally this could be subverted, as shown in Ripjaws' last appearance in the Original series, where he proceeded to start tearing chunks out of a bad guy's car, despite being in the desert and the car MOVING.
• Weaksauce Weakness: He can't survive without water for long. As a result, he is one of Ben's least used aliens. This is improved upon in the sequel series, but doesn't see him used much more at that point due to there being Loads and Loads of Characters, many of which can survive in and out of water.

Snare-oh (Benmummy) (OS-37)

Snare-oh's DNA was sampled from a Thep Khufan, an alien species that is comprised entirely of bandage like strips from Anur Khufos. Anur Khufos is a planet rich in Corrodium, a substance known for being extremely radio-active and causing horrible mutations. As such, Thep Khufan had to adapt to this to survive.

• Ascended Extra: He only made two brief appearances in the original series. He's used more often in Omniverse.
• Combat Tentacles: The bandages that make up his body actually are thin, but very strong tentacles he has complete control over. They can be used to effortlessly lift Diamondhead.
• Confusion Fu: Needless to say he has a very unorthodox attack pattern.
• Dark Is Not Evil: Though the alien who provided the sample sure was.
• Mummy: His look is based on one, though otherwise it follows almost none of the clichés usually associated with the trope.
• Mummy Wrap: His primary power; all these bandages actually are tentacles he can use to grab anything and anyone.
• Forgot About His Powers: In 'The Frogs of War, Part One', Ben apparantly hadn't used this form for so long that he'd forgotten what it could do.
• Healing Factor: Can easily be torn apart and even shredded to bits, and reform nearly instantly.
• How Do I Shot Web?: Initially, Ben doesn't really know how to use Snare-Oh's powers, and spends a good deal of a fight with the Yenaldooshi (the DNA sample of Blitzwolfer) getting his ass beaten.
• Losing Your Head: 'Secret of Dos Santos' reveals that his face plate can be detached from his bandages with no ill effect.
• No Name Given: Like Frankenstrike, he was never named on-screen, only being given the name Benmummy in the credits of “The Return”. When he returns in Omniverse, his name is still not stated on-screen, but he is listed as Snare-oh in the credits of 'The Frogs of War: Part 1'.
• No-Sell: Thep Khufan are completely immune to the horrible mutations corrodium radiations usually cause, allowing them to carry the substance inside their body with no ill side effects. Ben shows this ability as well while in alien form, but it's unclear if it's his aliens' ability or just thanks to the fact he is transforming through the Omnitrix.
• One-Shot Character: He only appeared in one episode of the original series, although he did make a brief appearance as a Continuity Nod in a later episode. When he returns in Omniverse, his name is still not stated, but the credits for 'The Frogs of War: Part 1' list him as Snare-oh.
• Suddenly Voiced: Ben can speak as Snare-oh, despite the fact that the alien he got the DNA sample from is The Speechless.
• Zombie Gait: Averted — he's actually one of the more nimble aliens Ben can use.

Spitter (OS-27)

Spitter's DNA was sampled from a Spheroid from planet Scalpasc.

• Ascended Extra: Averted. Just like Arctiguana and Buzzshock, he appeared as one of Ben 10,000's aliens. Unlike them, however, he has never made an appearance since the original series aside from appearing in the intro for Ultimate Alien. He's thus one of only four aliens to not appear in Omniverse and like Fasttrack, his species aren't even given representatives.
• The Cameo: He tends to make very brief appearances.
• Inflating Body Gag: He inflates whenever he spits.
• Super Spit: He can spit a powerful blast of slime.

Stinkfly (OS-02)

Stinkfly's DNA was sampled from a Lepidopterran, a race of winged insect-like aliens from planet Lepidopterra. With its advanced and highly specialized ecosystem, Lepidopterra is a generally peaceful swamp planet whose numerous species live among a fantastic variety of giant plants. Residing in a complex of giant hives each ruled by its own queen, Lepidopterrans are the predominant inhabitants of their planet. Life on this planet is seasonal, and every species does its part to make sure the flora continues to produce its fruit so that all can live together in harmony as they have for countless eons.

Ben 23's version is named Big Bug.

• Beware My Stinger Tail: He has a bee/scorpion-like stinger that is sharp enough to rip through metal.
• Big Creepy-Crawlies: Basically a giant alien fly.
• Breath Weapon: Shoots slime from his mouth and eyes. He can alter the properties of this goo, making them either flammable or fire retardant, for example.
• Eye on a Stalk: Stinkfly has four eyestalks arranged around its head, with the Omnitrix symbol in the middle resembling a single large eye; possibly an allusion to insects with patterns designed to mimic another creature.
• Fartillery: When Ben is reduced to a four-year-old, this is Stinkyfly's power.
• Flight: While he never was Ben's only flyer (Ghostfreak was one as well, and Heatblast later was revealed to be one), this is still the main use Ben had of him most of the time.
• Frickin' Laser Beams: When a time-traveling 10-year-old Ben used him in Ultimate Alien, his eyes shot lasers instead of goo.
• Glass Cannon: Seriously, just throw some water on this guy's wings and he's through.
• Weaksauce Weakness: Stinkfly's wings are very vulnerable. Even to water.
• You Don't Look Like You: He receives the most drastic redesign in the reboot series by far, not only taking on a more humanoid form, but having only two (completely different-looking) eyes, losing his tail, and even changing in color from green to blue. He doesn't even shoot slime from his mouth and eyes any more, instead firing it out of holes in his shoulders.
• You Need a Breath Mint: Stated several times by other characters that Stinkfly, well... stinks.

Upchuck (OS-39)

Upchuck's DNA was sampled from a Gourmand from Peptos XI, a small green species with large appetites. Gourmands have three prehensible tongues, seven acid-filled stomachs and diamond-hard teeth, allowing them to eat almost anything. Once they feed, they are able to project deadly energy beams from their mouths.

Ben 23's version is named Vomit Man.

• Big Eater: Except he can't digest what is normally considered 'food', leading to some rather bizarre culinary choices on his part.
• This Billboard Needs Some Salt: At one point, he drinks an animated 'Mr. Smoothie'. In the original series, this is quoted as Ben exclaims that Upchuck is a bottomless pit, but just can't eat regular food.
• Breath Weapon: Upchuck can fire laser beams from his mouth (or as he called them in Upchuck's debut 'exploding loogies'), though it has only been used twice (first against the Forever King in the original series then later on against Chromastone (who had escaped from the Omnitrix) in Alien Force. He prefers to fire exploding green energy pellets instead.
• Crouching Moron, Hidden Badass: While being able to eat a lot is useful, Upchuck isn't that impressive compared to the other alien races. Then cut to Omniverse where it's one of the few races confirmed to lack a predator. The only other known race to share that trait are humans.
  Upchuck: Top of the food chain, baby! Upchuck has no natural predator!
• Eating the Enemy: Upchuck can devour practically anything, which includes enemies. Of course if they're alive he usually spits them back out.
• Extreme Omnivore: He can eat everything... except, ironically, regular food. And by everything, an episode on Omniverse shows that the species as a whole has Plan Omega, which is to eat their entire planet!
• Glass Cannon: A given since he's the size of a woodchuck.
• Meaningful Name: When he showed off his powers of 'exploding loogies', Ben exclaimed that he had 'Upchuck power', that is to say acidic vomit. Wanna know why Upchuck's species comes from Peptos XI? Because due to the species enacting Plan Omega—which is to devour their entire planet — they've done this so many times in the past!
• Voluntary Shape Shifting: Sort of. There are two races of Gourmands; one are called Perks, whom resemble Upchuck's design from the original series, and the other are called Murks, who resemble Upchuck's design from Alien Force and Ultimate Alien. In 'Tummy Trouble', Upchuck displays the ability to switch between the two races. Derrick J. Wyatt stated that he did this because likes both designs of Upchuck, and wanted to be able to use both.

Upgrade (OS-04)

Upgrade's DNA was sampled from a Galvanic Mechamorph, a bio-mechanical race. Galvanic Mechamorphs were an accidental creation of the Galvan resulting from an experiment on their moon Galvan B, when they attempt to turn the moon into a planet-sized space station through nanotechnology and a device called the Helix. The experiment was successful, but ended up creating artificial life forms, resulting in the Galvanic Mechamorphs. The Galvan eventually gave up the experiment, and helped the newborn Galvanic Mecamorph to create their own civilization before recognizing them as an independent species.

Ben 23's version is named Techno-Bubble.

• A Day in the Limelight: A fairly minor one, but 'Game Over' revolves around Ben and Gwen trapped in a video game, their quest being to find Upgrade's icon so they can get out, and the villain also attempting to retrieve Upgrade so he can use his form to escape.
• Ascended Extra: Zig-zagged in the reboot: in Season 1 he has basically the same role as in the original series; in Season 2 he doesn't appear until the Season finale (his absence has been noted several times, however) where it's revealed his DNA had been destroyed and forced to fuse with Ben's DNA and became the Genius Loci of the Omnitrix, taking the name 'Glitch'. In Season 3 he escaped the Omnitrix, joining the protagonists as the Sixth Ranger.
• Blob Monster: Of the 'liquid metal' variety, much like the T-1000.
• Confusion Fu/Mighty Glacier: He's the latter when he's just Upgrade and the former when... everything else.
• Cyber Cyclops: Has a single eye on the end of his head. Omniverse puts the Omnitrix symbol on top of it (for the 16-year-old Ben's Upgrade. 11 year old Ben's Upgrade has a slightly modified version of his design from the Original Series).
• Expy: He is seemingly based on the T-1000 liquid metal terminator.
• Eye Beam: Though it took Ben time to figure out, Upgrade can, even when not fusing with machines, shoot a plasma beam from his single eye.
• Fusion Dance:
  • Ben uses him to do this with Rex in Heroes United, making his already powerful constructs even more powerful.
  • In 'It's a Mad, Mad, Mad... Ben World', Ben 23 uses his own version of Upgrade, Techno-Bubble, to do the same with mainstream Ben's Clockwork.
• Mechanical Lifeform: He actually is made of very advanced Galvan nanotechnology.
• Purple Is Powerful: The reboot changed his colors from black, green and white to two different shade of purple.
• Robo Speak: Averted, Ben (And Max in the Orginal Series episode 'Gwen 10') retains his human voice in this form, albeit with some static noises in the background.
• Rubber Man: Can stretch his limbs and body at will, being a liquid metal.
• Shapeshifting: He can reshape his body, stretching out to act like a parachute while falling, or projecting spikes to attack opponents.
• The Smart Guy: Along with Grey Matter, the main appeal Upgrade seems to be brains over brawns, as he can merge with technology and use it to fight for him. Unlike Grey Matter, Upgrade can hold his own in a fight for the most part; he's just never Ben's first choice to go into physical combat with.
• Technopath: He can take over any machine by fusing with it, upgrading it (hence his name) to incredible levels in the process. But it has limits; if the machine is sentient, it can struggle with the possession and get free.
• Took a Level in Badass:
  • Alien Force reveals through Ship that Mechamorphs can 'eat' technology and gain the ability to turn into whatever they've eaten at will.
  • In the original series his upgrades were limited by the machinery he possessed. Sure he could get things to shoot lasers that had no business shooting lasers, but if he possessed a piece of exercise equipment he was not going to be moving anywhere. In Omniverse, when he possesses Kevin's car he gives it the ability to fly and turn into a Humongous Mecha.
• Tron Lines: Galvanic Mechamorphs as a species have these, and they do well to add extra awesomeness to whatever tech they fuse with

Way Big(Secret of the Omnitrix ^{note note} )/Ultimate Waybig (UA-52)

Way Big's DNA was sampled from a To'kustar, a race of enormous aliens created in cosmic storms. Despite their power they are actually peaceful in nature.

Ben 23's version is named Giant-Manster.

• Achilles' Heel: Destroy All Aliens establishes that Tokustars' head fins are vulnerable to attack. Hit them there and they're paralyzed. It's unclear how long the paralysis lasts since Ben's transformation ended soon after he was hit. This weakness has yet to be shown in any other piece of Ben 10 media.
• Attack of the 50-Foot Whatever: His bio puts him at 60 feet.
• Blade Below the Shoulder: Though he has yet to use it offensively. They get increasingly exaggerated in his normal form in subsequent installments, but ironically, they are very much downplayed in his Ultimate form.
• Deadly Disc: The Energy Weapon variant.
• Destructive Saviour: His energy beam as Ultimate Way Big does not automatically shut off if he moves.
• Disney Death: He was aged to dust by Eon, but restored by Ben 10,000.
• Evolution Power-Up: Way Big's ultimate form is Ben's largest alien to date, and the most prone to collateral damage not accounting for Ben's nuclear aliens, which is why he only used it once. Though not much changes, Way Big becomes three times bigger and stronger. He can also shoot his To'kustar Elbow Lasers as disks. The only downside to this form is that the strength of his lasers is not proportionate to his evolution, which negates his need to become bigger if he's not using his size and strength directly.
• Expy: Of Ultraman. Right down to the + style energy beam.
• Eyes Do Not Belong There: In the original series and Omniverse, he has two extra eyes protruding from his cheeks.

• Just a Stupid Accent: In Omniverse, he speaks with an exaggerated Japanese accent. Considering what he's based on, it makes sense.
• Kamehame Hadoken: He can fire a powerful energy beam from his hands by putting them into a plus sign. In Omniverse, this changes to an X formation.
• Lightning Bruiser: Originally thought to be a Mighty Glacier, but it's later revealed he's quite fast as well.
• Negative Space Wedgie: According to the official bio, this is the species' birthplace; To'kustar are born in giant cosmic storms.
• One-Man Army: Given his size, he can literally crush entire armies at once.
• Our Giants Are Bigger: The biggest species in the galaxy.
• Shout-Out: Way Big is a fusion of various Ultras from the Ultra Series: he has the color scheme of the original Ultraman with the exaggerated head fin of Ultraman Ace backwards. Additionally, his silver skin is composed of a different material than the red parts, paying tribute to one of the original ideas for Ultraman^note . Way Big's Ultimate form has two horns like Ultraman Taro but the color scheme of Ultraman Tiga and Ultraman Dyna, and has access to the Ultra Slash technique, a common Showa Ultra technique. Ultimate Way Big's elbow spikes also serve as a early example, as the only Ultra with the exact same arm fins as Ultimate Way Big is Ultraman Geed Primitive.
• Spin to Deflect Stuff: In Ultimate Alien, he deflected lasers by spinning like a tornado.
• Story-Breaker Power: A lot of enemies would be defeated in a matter of seconds if Ben just used this guy (his first appearance had him easily defeat Vilgax), which might explain why he wasn't introduced until the original series' finale and brought back in the season two finale of Alien Force. After that, the writers were forced to either rely on Ben carrying the Idiot Ball or the Omnitrix's tendencies to give him the wrong alien to ensure Ben wouldn't use him too often. Way Big also can't be used inside buildings or aboard space ships because he's too big to fit inside them. Ben knows that using Way Big is overkill in normal circumstances.
• Super Speed: Displayed this ability in 'Ultimate Alien, but it's been retconned as a glitch power in Omnniverse'.
• Super Strength: The Ben 10 wiki states that he has great strength even in proportion to his massive size.
  • So much so that in 'Ken 10', Ben didn't use him until Kevin pushed his Berserk Button and harmed his son. Note that this was in the middle of a populated city. Ben was really pissed at Kevin at the time.
• The Worf Effect: As Ultimate Way Big, he was easily defeated by Diagon to show how dangerous the thing was.
  • A much more humiliating example is when he is defeated by Trumbipulor in Omniverse.
  • In general, sometimes the writers will attempt to go out of their way to avoid his Story-Breaker Power status, but at the cost of making Way Big seem much less powerful (as of this writing, he's the only alien form to singlehandedly defeat Vilgax before the Time Skip). Word of God even states that Way Big is Ben's 6th strongest alien.
• Tornado Move: He used his Super Speed to make a tornado powerful enough to throw a giant monster into the sun.
• Vocal Evolution: Omniverse gives him a Japanese accent.

Wildmutt/Ultimate Wildmutt (OS-01, UA-32)

Wildmutt's DNA was sampled from a Vulpimancer, a race of canine-like creatures from Vulpin. A pitch black planet at the galaxy's edge, Vulpin has long served as a dumping ground for hazardous materials far too dangerous for other worlds. The little that was once natural here long ago became corrupted by dangerous outside influences. Part penal colony, part toxic waste dump, whatever life that does survive here among the subzero temperatures and the poisoned forests must learn to adapt to the harshest of climates.

Notably, Vulpimancers are also a common species in the Null Void, though the ones from this place tend to have a much more monstrous appearance.

Ben 23's version is named Dog-Nabbit.

• Adapted Out: He is not present among Ben's original 10 aliens in the reboot, having been replaced with Wildvine.
• Angry Guard Dog: With ape arms.
• Badass Normal: Compared to the other aliens, at least.
• Beware My Stinger Tail: Ultimate Wildmutt gains a spiked tail.
• Call a Smeerp a 'Rabbit': Or in this case a dog.
• The Cameo: Made a brief appearance in 'Viktor: The Spoils', while Ben was unconscious, before making his official reappearance in 'Prisoner 775 is Missing'.
• Disability Superpower: Has no eyes but can 'see' with its other senses. Except when Ben gets a cold, therefore clogging up his sinuses and rendering him blind.
• Early-Bird Cameo: Meta example; a toyline first revealed the existence of Ultimate Wildmutt.
• Evolution Power-Up: Wildmutt's Ultimate form is capable of articulating words, unlike his predecessor. Upon evolving, Ultimate Wildmutt grows a tail with a spiked tip and spinal spikes. Due to his evolution as a tracker, Ultimate Wildmutt also has a noticeable bloodlust that affects his personality and makes him more ravenous.
• Jack-of-All-Stats: Wildmutt has a fairly good balance of strength, durability, speed and agility compared to the other alien forms. As Ultimate Wildmutt, he becomes a Lightning Bruiser instead.
• Skunk Stripe: Ultimate Wildmutt has one down his back. It's even got a black outline where it attaches to his back, making it more obviously this trope.
• Super Senses: Can hear a wide range of sounds and track scents.
• The Unintelligible: Vulpimancers do have a language, however, it is too difficult for universal translators to translate, and Wildmutt doesn't know it. Averted with Ultimate Wildmutt, whose speech is understandable.

Wildvine (OS-20, OV-11)

Wildvine's DNA was sampled from a Florauna, a race of sentient plants from planet Flors Verdance.

• Combat Tentacles: He can uses his arms as this.
• Cyclops: He has a single large eye.
• Divergent Character Evolution: Inverted. Omniverse gives him Swampfire's healing factor and vine-spawning seeds.
• Glass Cannon: His explosive seeds and elongated arms allow him quite a potential for attack, but he is as fragile as any plant. Granted, his Healing Factor makes up for this.
• Green Thumb: He could merge with plant life in the original series and gains the ability to spawn it in Omniverse.
• Healing Factor: Wasn't revealed in the original series (Ben never got in a situation where he was hurt that bad while in this form), but Omniverse did reveal through the character of Pax that Florauna can heal from being reduced to pieces from a blast.
• Immune to Mind Control: Due to being a plant, Sublimino's hypnosis doesn't work on him.
• Informed Flaw: The Bandai profile states that Florauna will quickly wither up and weaken if deprived of water, sunlight or exposed to the cold; Neither Wildvine nor the various actual Florauna that have shown up in the series have ever displayed such a weakness.
• Overshadowed by Awesome: Swampfire possesses similar plant-based powers, plus a remarkable Healing Factor and Playing with Fire. Possibly corrected in Omniverse, where it's revealed that Florauna possess a healing factor as well.
• Plant Aliens: Based on a Venus fly trap.
• Rubber Man: His vines can elongate to great lengths.
• Swiss Army Weapon: His seeds can be used as bombs, knockout gas grenades, or grow more vines.
• Tunnel King: Thanks to his roots, he is capable of digging at high speeds and move underground.

XLR8 (OS-01)

XLR8's DNA was sampled from a Kineceleran, an incredibly fast moving species from planet Kinet. A world of violent electrical storms rapidly orbiting the sun, everything on Kinet is accelerated. Days are compressed into minutes and lifetimes are spread over weeks. Due to the ever-changing nature of their environment, Kinetan society is forever in flux. Although the inhabitants remain constant in their highly charged hyperactive nature, it is said, like lightning, that no return visitor to this world ever experiences the same place twice.

Ben 23's version is named Speedyquick.

• Breakout Character: In the original series, XLR8 was the most popular of Ben's aliens, even winning Cartoon Network's official popularity contest. In season 2 and 3, XLR8 even started to become the most used alien in the show. This didn't prevent it from being Put on a Bus in Alien Force/Ultimate Alien, even being replaced with Fasttrack in the latter. XLR8 finally returns in Omniverse, with Fasttrack being Put on a Bus.
• Cool Helmet: It has a retractable visor that protects his eyes while he's moving at high speeds.
• Everything's Better with Dinosaurs: Looks like an armored velociraptor with wheels as his feet.
• Flanderization: He had a fairly normal personality in the original series and was perfectly capable of moving like a normal person. In Omniverse, XLR8 is downright hyperactive and seems unable to move and talk without being fast. In 'Third Time's a Charm', Ben uses him to quickly look through magic books, only to quickly get bored and start reading Sumo Slammers instead.
• Fragile Speedster: He is physically frail and will usually fall after the first punch. Still, he runs so fast you can barely see him most of the time, so punching him even once is in itself an accomplishment.
• Informed Flaw: According to the Bandai profile, his species has problem running on water due to the static electrity they produce while moving. Yet, XLR8 has been seen walking on water with no such problems. Fans usually assume the suit might be protecting him.
• Motor Mouth: He tends to speak a lot at a fast pace in Omniverse.
• Retcon: A pop-up in the original series episode 'Ben 10,000' once stated that XLR 8 was the only Kineceleran on Earth due to the slow rotation of the planet compared to their home planet making them sick after a few days. Come Omniverse, Kinecelerans are shown surviving just fine on Earth.
• Space Elves: The Bandai profile describes his species has possessing Pointy Ears and long hair, much like elves. However, since XLR8 wears a helmet and can't remove it (and every Kineceleran introduced since then wears at least a hat if not the whole helmet), this has never been confirmed. On that note, the shape of his helmet is reminiscent of the Eldars, aliens from Warhammer 40,000 who are basically elves in space.
• Stealth Pun: Understanding his name involves saying it fast.
• Spotlight-Stealing Squad: He is one of the most used transformations in Omniverse, having been used a total of 19 times, tied with Feedback and Four Arms.
• Super Speed: 10 years old XLR8 can runs 500 miles an hour. It's unknown exactly how fast the older versions can go, but Ben 10,000's version of the alien was said to be able to break the speed of sound with little effort.
• Theme Naming: Somehow, Ben gave him a Punny Name that still fits with Kineceleran naming structure, even though he didn't even know what a Kineceleran was at the time.
• Tornado Move: He can use his super-speed to generate small tornadoes for attack purposes, to put out fires, or to catch people who are falling.

Alien Force Aliens

Alien X (AF-13)

Alien X was sampled from a Celestialsapien, a species of mysterious, god-like aliens with Reality Warping powers. Similar to Ghostfreak, Alien X is sapient of its own accord. It houses two distinct personalities: Serena, the voice of love and compassion, and Bellicus, the voice of anger and aggression. Both of them have near-infinite ability to channel just about any thought into reality, making this arguably Ben's most powerful alien. However, the arguable part is quite literally an issue, as Serena and Bellicus have totally opposite personalities that rarely find the time to actually use these incredible powers because they are obsessed with debating just about every matter there is to discuss and never agree on anything long enough to perform any sort of action unless someone intervenes or they relent on some level.

This doesn't just apply to them; most Celestialsapiens are crippled by their multiple indecisive personalities, and it is rare to find one that can behave competently without arguing with itself, aside from the infants, which have yet to gain split personalities. Luckily, it's a good thing, because under the wrong set of circumstances, they might just wipe everything out in the blink of an eye. They reside in a universe far beyond the normal confines of our own, and are born from a truly gigantic in comparison Celestialsapien mother.

• Awesome, but Impractical: Possibly the most extreme example of the trope. Alien X can warp reality on an universal scale, meaning he is technically omnipotent. Unfortunately, because Ben can only control one of the three personalities he can't use any of that power, thus making the alien not only useless, but dangerous, since Ben needs Selena's and Bellicus' accord to move or turn back to human. Because of this he is the only alien where he had to develop a failsafe on the Omnitrix to ensure he wouldn't turn into Alien X.
• Berserk Button: Thanks to a Noodle Incident, Paradox is a Berserk Button for the entire Celestialsapien race. Killing him for an apparent violation of their restraining order against him is the one thing Serena and Bellicus will immediately agree to do.
• Celestial Body: He seems to be a living anthropomorphic galaxy.
• Chekhov's Gunman: Played a role in Ultimate Alien episode 16.
• Freudian Trio: Serena is the Superego, Bellicus is the Id, and Ben is the Ego.
• Godzilla Threshold: Because of the severe drawbacks to using him and the risk of the power falling into the wrong hands, Ben only relies on Alien X if and only if there is no option but to resort to him. By the Time War, Ben seems to have finally moved past that when he gets Bellicus and Serena to fall in line.
• Informed Flaw: Word of God is that even after 'Universe vs. Tennyson' Ben still has to get control from Serena and Bellicus every time he transforms and they still may limit what Alien X is able to do. However the very next episode showed Ben using Alien X with much less effort than the previous appearances and is even lampshaded by Rook saying 'Ben has control over Alien X'.
• Lantern Jaw of Justice: In Omniverse.
• The Load: Alien X is a reality-bending Super Mode alien, the most powerful being in the universe. The problem is that Ben has to get a majority agreement on the tasks at hand with two other personalities within the alien. But seeing as they can't agree on anything, and are only slightly more likely to agree with Ben, the form was literally dead weight until Ben had managed to convince Bellicus and Serena that he didn't need to interfere in their debates.
• Me's a Crowd: Can duplicate himself, because of his Reality Warper powers.
• New Powers as the Plot Demands: He gets new powers with each appearance. Justified once being Reality Warper means you can do anything.
• Nigh Invulnerable: Alien X is impervious to everything it has been hit with, ranging from blaster fire to the complete annihilation of the universe completely by virtue of deciding whether they'd be harmed. Simply put, if Ben and the other personalities agree that they don't want to be hurt, they wont be, with only other Celestialsapiens able to hurt them. However, there's one exception - they cannot survive on Anur Vladias, a Dark World where nothing survives, not even Celestialsapiens.
• Not So Invincible After All: Though Alien X is portrayed as an omnipotent being, there are certain instances where this is simply not the case. For example, he nearly loses to the Galactic Gladiator (though this is entirely justified as the gladiator is a Celestialsapien himself and the fail safe that protects Ben from dying fails to activate in multiversal threats hinting that not even Alien X can protect Ben from attacks on a multiversal level. Word of God also says that Celestialsapiens can't survive on Anur Vladias.
• Our Giants Are Bigger: Alien X is the size of a normal human; a true Celestiansapien measures in the thousands of feet tall; Kevin was easily able to crash land on one and still had acres of room to spare. However, being reality warpers, their form can easily go either way on a whim.
• The Power of Creation: Used this to recreate the universe after it's been destroyed.
• Reality Warper: More Reality Maker. However, Celestialsapiens have laws that dictate what can be done with their powers and when.
• Retcon: In Alien Force, Ben functioned as the tie breaker for Alien X. If he could get either Serena or Bellicus to agree to anything then it would be decided. In Omniverse the decision had to be unanimous, with both Serena and Bellicus agreeing.
  • Justified as the last time he got what he wanted done, they got in trouble for it. It makes sense that they'ed be a little more cautious, or maybe it's even a punishment from the council that judged them.
  • It turns out Celestialsapiens can invoke this as a power for reality at large, which is used as a sly Hand Wave for the many Broad Strokes different teams have chosen to take with their own visions of Ben 10. Celestialsapiens are revealed in 'Universe vs Tennyson' to be responsible for all the Art Shift changes and voices of characters changing, as demonstrated with Azmuth's repeatedly altered appearance and voice.
• Running Gag: Omniverse uses him as one, playing on Rook's scepticism about his existence and Ben insisting that Alien X is real while being unable to prove it for obvious reasons. Eventually, he actually does prove it to him when the destruction of the universe is triggered, forcing Ben to use Alien X. Technically, he failed to save the universe, but, being Alien X, he's able to completely reform it as though nothing had happened. Ironically, no one other than Ben has any memory of this taking place until another Celestialsapien gets onto him for it in 'Universe vs Tennyson'.
• Sealed Evil in a Duel: Or more accurately 'Sealed Neutral in a Debate'. Selena and Bellicus do not care about whatever problem Ben is having. Even the destruction of the universe itself was met with indifference. Ben had to convince them to recreate the universe because he couldn't convince them to save it in time. Ben later gets them to give him control over Alien X by suggesting that, with him in control, he wouldn't ever need to interfere with their debates.
• Sealed Good in a Can: Ben had the alien locked in the Ultimatrix so that it can only be activated for emergencies, and so Albedo couldn't access it were he ever to get his hands on a Codon reciever again.
• Split Personality: An example of where this isn't good vs evil, but 'war vs peace' or 'love vs hate', with it being The Voice of Love and Compassion vs The Voice of Rage. All Celestialsapiens have this but how much they're in control of it varies between species.
• Shapeshifting: In “Universe vs. Tennyson”, he is able to shapeshift into a galaxy shaped thing that has enough of a gravitational pull that it sucks in the Galactic Gladiator... who had itself grown to the larger than a planet.
• Story-Breaker Power: If not for the whole Awesome, but Impractical aspect, Ben could be invincible just by using this form all the time. After Ben gets complete control over the form in 'Universe vs Tennyson', the only limit other than random chance is Ben's own imagination. Just to show it off, Ben beat the combined force of the Rooters and the brainwashed Amalgam kids simply by making them shoot each other. However, he still has to be careful with how he can use his powers or he will get in trouble again.
• Telekinesis: It's part of Alien X's powers, but never used until he fights the Rooters and makes them fight each other.
• Voice of the Legion: When he does speak, it's Bellicus, Serena, and Ben in unison.

Big Chill/Ultimate Big Chill (AF-04, UA-03)

Big Chill was sampled from a Necrofriggian from planet Kylmyys. An ice planet full of large glaciers and ravaged by snowstorms, Kymyys was for a long time thought to be unhabited, as any life form on it would be instantly frozen. However, Necrofriggians were able to evolve in the deep caves, developing an ability to turn intangible so they could resist extreme climates, as well as ice-based powers. Due to this ability, they were also able to colonize other similarly unhabitable worlds, such as planet Mykdl'dy.

Necrofriggians are also an asexual species that reproduce every 80 years by laying eggs.

Ben 23's version is named Freezeghost.

• Ambiguous Gender: It isn't clear what his gender is. When asked if Big Chill was a female, Dwayne McDuffie replied 'sort of'.
• Art Evolution: He goes from his skeletal appearance in Alien Force/Ultimate Alien to huge and bulky in Omniverse.
• Big Creepy-Crawlies: He looks like a giant, vaguely humanoid, skeleton-like moth. Even more so in Ben 10: Omniverse, where the skeleton aspect is dropped in favor of making him look more like a bulky bug.
• Breath Weapon: Ice breathing, to be accurate.
• Combo Platter Powers: Ghostfreak's intangibility with Arctiguana's ice powers. At one point, Big Chill's subconscious takes over similarly to Ghostfreak, but it wasn't for evil intentions — it was to give BIRTH.
• Creepy Good: Not as much as Ghostfreak, but he still comes up as creepy, with his skull-like face and ghostly voice.
• Elemental Rock–Paper–Scissors: Averted. Big Chill can withstand extreme cold and extreme heat, hailing from a planet that has both. Not even drinking molten steel is a problem.
• Evolution Power-Up: Like Cannonbolt, Big Chill's current state is powerful enough to a point where evolution has a minimal effect. When 'changing' into Ultimate Big Chill, the only alterations to be had appearance-wise are a palette change and some flame accents. Changes to Ultimate Big Chill's powers simply include taking longer breaths, creating ice out of thin air and being able to flashfreeze almost anything.
• Extreme Omnivore: When in Mister Seahorse mode, Big Chill's species chomp down on anything metal and regurgitate it to create a nest for their children. This even gets to the point where Big Chill can digest molten steel without any ill side effects!
• Expy/Shout-Out: He is based on the alleged real life cryptid known as 'the Mothman'.
  • His Omniverse design is reminiscent of Batman's outfit from Batman: The Brave and the Bold.
• Fauxshadow: One episode has him going out of Ben's control, and Gwen believes that he's following in the footsteps of Ghostfreak, since they're both ghost-like aliens. But actually, no, Big Chill was just getting ready to be a mommy/daddy/whatever.
• Flying Firepower: A flyer with powerful ice breath abilities.
• Foil: To Heatblast. Both are flying elemental aliens yet are not Ben's primary fliers in their respective sets (the role is instead given to Stinkfly in the original series and Jetray in Alien Force). However, Big Chill's main power is his cryokinesis while Heatblast is on the complete other end of the spectrum. Heatblast is durable enough to be thrown through buildings while Big Chill has to rely on his maneuverability and intangibility to merely stay in the fight.
• Freaky Is Cool: Many fans of the series admit to liking Big Chill simply because of his Grim Reaper like appearance as well as his echoey, monotone voice.
• Ghostly Chill: The basis of his powers.
• Glass Cannon: His ice powers are extremely powerful and able to defeat much stronger opponents, but his physical structure is relatively weak compared to most of Ben's fight-oriented aliens, making him easy to defeat if you find a way to attack him before he goes intangible (good luck for that though). Possibly averted in Omniverse, where he is shown to be more bulky and possibly stronger physically.
• Harmless Freezing: Unless Ben engaged in a major Bloodless Carnage slaughterfest in 'Hit 'Em Where They Live', BC's ice is like this.
• An Ice Person: Though he's primarily used for his ice breath, Big Chill has several methods of freezing opponents including shooting ice beams from his hands, through physical contact and by going intangible. Big Chill also has the ability to freeze the water in the air to create ice constructs and his cryokinesis has successfully overpowered fire attacks more than once.
• Intangible Man: And can freeze everything he phases through to boot.
• In the Hood: When folded, his wings form like a natural cape and hood, giving him a Grim Reaper-esque look.
• Mama Bear: Pregnant Necrofriggians get very aggressive when they believe their eggs are threatened.
• Mister Seahorse: Big Chill's species reproduces asexually every 80 years by laying eggs. Ben is no exception, to the point the form's instincts actually took over his human form to force him to turn into Big Chill regularly and prepare it.
• Our Ghosts Are Different: In this case this ghost is a ice-breathing alien bug.
• Pungeon Master: Big Chill loves to make ice puns.
• Super Not-Drowning Skills: The Ultimate Alien episode “Deep” shows him breathing and using his powers just fine underwater.
• Super Strength: He is capable of easily ripping metal statues and steel girders apart.
• Technicolor Fire: Reversed. Big Chill blows blue ice breath, while Ultimate Big Chill breathes red 'ice flames' that create an instant ice sheetglaciers.
• Winged Humanoid: Specifically moth-like wings.

Brainstorm (AF-07)

Brainstorm was sampled from a Cerebrocrustacean, a species of sentient, highly intelligent crabs from planet Encephalonus IV. This planet being a place with a lot of energy problema, its inhabitants have developed the ability to produce electrical energy of their own from their very brain. Cerebrocrustaceans are the second smartest species in the galaxy, preceded only by Galvans.

• Awesomeness by Analysis: In 'The Vengers', he CurbStomps the Vengers by predicting their tactics, taking advantage of their weaknesses, and using the environment against them.
• Divergent Character Evolution: Omniverse makes him more of an offensive alien, being able to analyze the environments and enemies, and then use them to his advantage, making him more different from Gray Matter, whose strengths are more in technology and infiltration.
• Starfish Aliens: Giant crab like alien with oversized heads, and shell capable of exposing their brains.
• Genius Ditz: Ben's most intelligent alien during Force/Ultimate and second most intelligent species in the galaxy. That said, Ben often gets distracted and makes foolish decisions while in this form.
• Giant Enemy Crab: Not that big, seeing how he is around the size of a human, but that's still giant compared to a regular crab.
• Improbably High I.Q.: In 'The Vengers', his Inner Monologue displayed his IQ as 10^30.
• Mighty Glacier: As a crab, he cannot move very quickly, but he compensates by producing powerful electrical attacks and forcefields.
• My Brain Is Big: And visible with that.
• Power Floats: He is capable of levitation, though he tends to prefer scuttling along the ground.
• Put on a Bus: He was the only electric alien that did not appear in 'Max's Monster', on the sole justification that he's a brain alien with some minor electric side powers, and as such not an electrical alien.
• The Rival: Apparently, Galvans and Cerebrocrustaceans tend to have a rivalry over which one of them is the smartest species in the Universe; Cerebrocrustacean villain Dr Psychobos' entire motivations resolve around proving his species is superior to the Galvans, Brainstorm once had a small argument on the subject with Azmuth, and Galvan minor characters Blucik and Driba has been known to make condescendant comments about Cerebrocrustaceans at least twice in the show.
• Sesquipedalian Loquaciousness: Cerebrocrustaceans as a whole seem to instinctively express themselves that way, and Brainstorm is no exception. This actually sometimes become a weakness, as he can distract himself during fights.
• Smart People Speak the Queen's English: Why else would he have a British Accent?
• Shock and Awe: His brain can generate electric attacks and forcefields by mere thought.
• Super Intelligence: Though Word of God as of Omniverse is that Galvans are smarter.
• Telepathy: Word of God states that Cerebrocrustacanes do not speak with their mouths, and instead mentally project their thoughts as sound waves.
• The Smart Guy: Replaced Grey Matter as this during the Alien Force/Ultimate Alien era.
• Took a Level in Badass: In Alien Force and Ultimate Alien, his intelligence was a liability in combat rather than an asset; he never used it to fight tactically and was more likely to distract himself with his musings than anything else. He pulled off a physics simulation in his head once to win at golf, but had never done anything like that in the heat of combat. In Omniverse, he pulls off something akin to Sherlock Holmes (2009), effortlessly defeating his opponents through tactical use of his understanding of his opponents, his powers, and his environment.
• Wall Crawl: He can scuttle along walls as easily as the ground.
• Vocal Evolution: He has a different voice and accent in Omniverse as a result of Corey Burtontaking over and gives him a German accent.

Chromastone (AF-05)

Chromastone was sampled from Sugilite, the guardian of Petropia before Vilgax caused its destruction. A crystal-based alien, he possesses the ability to absorb light and energy, channeling them into attacks.

• Back for the Finale: He shows up in the final episode of Omniverse after an extended absence.
• Cyclops: Has a single eye on his head.
• Crystal Dragon Jesus: 'Secret of Chromastone' reveals the alien who provided the sample for Chromastone was Sugilite, the guardian of Petropia, whose role was to allow the planet and its inhabitants to be reborn after their destruction by the hand of Vilgax.
• Divergent Character Evolution: He gained the ability to fly in Alien Force's season 3, contrasting him with the returning Diamondhead. This power never appears again in Omniverse, due to largely phasing him out (though Word of God said that it was a glitch, despite Sugilite being able to fly).
• Energy Absorption: His main power allows him to absorb any form of light or energy attack directed at him, then channel it into his own attacks.
• Flight: Gains this ability in 'The Secret of Chromastone'. Word of God for Omniverse retcons this as a 'glitch power' that came about from a glitch in the Omnitrix/Ultimatrix.
• Healing Factor: Though he rarely needs it, considering how tough he is.
• Light 'em Up: Though he lacks Diamondhead's Gemstone Assault ability, he trades it for an amplified ability to absorb light and energy in general, channel it inside his body and redirect it as light-based attacks.
• Lightning Bruiser: He seems to be faster and more agile than Diamondhead, but not as strong and durable.
• Nigh-Invulnerability: To date, Vilgax is the only one who ever managed to damage him.
• The Only One: He is the only being in the universe who can restore the dead planet, Petropia.
• Overshadowed by Awesome: His role as Ben's energy absorber is taken by Feedback in Omniverse. In fact, when Ben tries to use him to absorb the energy of Maltruant's Annihilarg, the Omnitrix shifts through his alien forms until it gives him Feedback instead.
• Power Crystal: A living one, much like Diamondhead. He is related to Diamondhead, in fact.
• Put on a Bus: He only made one appearance in Omniverse near the beginning of the series, and it was just being used to test Blukic and Driba's new weapon. He didn't show up again until the finale.
• Retcon: His biography initially introduced him as a separate species from Diamondhead, called Crystalsapiens, with their own planet known as Motoresi. This was retconned as a legend after 'The Secret of Chromastone' revealed he actually was from the same planet as Diamondhead.
• Single Specimen Species: Sugilite, Chromastone's genetic donor, is the only Crystalsapien in existence.
• Suspiciously Similar Substitute: To Diamondhead; ironically inverted in season 3 of Alien Force.
• You Don't Look Like You: His first appearance in Omniverse had him looking exactly the same as he did in Alien Force and Ultimate Alien. When he returns in 'A New Dawn', his design is heavily modified, incorporating several more spikes, clothing, a different face, and a new body shape.

Echo Echo/Ultimate Echo Echo (AF-02, UA-11)

Echo Echo was sampled from a Sonorisian from Sonorisia. Massive, majestic gorges and immense, breath-taking canyons displaying beautiful layers of multi-colored strata from their gradual formation over the ages can be found all over Sonorosia. Sonorosians are the only natives with the innate ability to manipulate sound waves, but other creatures on Sonorosia are able to take advantage of the planet's cavernous topography, utilizing different specific locations on the landscape as whisper chambers or to generate echoes as a defense mechanism. They use the immense gorges to use echolocation to find each other.

Ben 23's version is named Copy-Copy.

• Attack Drone: Ultimate Echo Echo trades the Doppelgänger Attack for a series of floating discs that act as speakers for his sonic attacks. 'Sonic Doom' is his most powerful and devastating move, which bombards an opponent with an omnidirectional sphere of ear-splitting sonic waves.
• Combination Attack: 'Wall of Sound'.
• Doppelgänger Attack: His secondary form of attack.
• Evolution Power-Up: Ultimate Echo Echo is arguably Ben's most powerful Ultimate Alien. While losing his ability to clone himself, he obtains detachable sonic discs that come from the light-blue holes on his body. These discs are powerful enough to contain a nuclear explosion and can replicate themselves in case Ultimate Echo Echo needs more firepower. His unique use of decibel force leaves him unrivaled, even when facing Ultimate Kevin.
• Flight: Ultimate Echo Echo is the only alien faster than Jetray or XLR8.
• Informed Ability: Ultimate Echo Echo was stated by Derrick Wyatt to be capable of duplicating like regular Echo Echo, but he never actually used the ability.
• Make Me Wanna Shout: His basic form of attack.
• Mechanical Lifeforms: He's a silicon-based lifeform, so he's most likely one.
• Me's a Crowd: Unlike Ditto, however, the duplicates are not constantly synced to each other, so it is possible for each one to transform into different forms separately, as seen in the episode 'Duped' of Ultimate Alien. Ultimate Echo Echo was originally stated to be incapable of this, but this has been retconned.
• Powered Armor: According to Derrick Wyatt, he (and other Sonorosians) are made of living sound waves so they wear containment suits.
• Robo Speak: Sounding like a speech synthesizer as Echo Echo, but loses any inflection and goes straight into Machine Monotone as Ultimate Echo Echo.
• The Stoic: Ultimate Echo Echo's voice is very deep and subdued compared to the shrill and screechy Echo Echo, indicating a huge change in power and disposition.
• Suspiciously Similar Substitute: To Ditto.

Goop (AF-09)

Goop was sampled from a Polymorph from Viscosia. A volcanic planet with a significantly lighter grativy than Earth, molten magma flows freely on Viscosia, constantly shaping and reshaping the jagged planetary surface in its path. Lava weeps out from fissures in the ever-changing landscape. Polymorph are unicellular organism capable of shaping themselves as they want and float on the planet's lighter gravity.

Ben 23's version is named Muck-O-Muck.

• Acid Attack: He can turn himself into living acid.
• Blob Monster: He is made of a slimy, liquid substance that requires a UFO-shaped anti-gravity device to move and keep himself together. As a result, he can alter his shape and fly as long as the device isn't damaged or shut down.
• Confusion Fu: His lack of anatomy means he could throw a punch from any part of his body, if he so chose.
• Covered in Gunge: Not him, but others when he takes a hit.
• Nigh-Invulnerability: By way of being made of fluids. (See Blob Monster)
• Retcon: His acid originally was stated by writer Matt Dwayne to be his species' way of digesting food, meaning it was meant to be a natural ability. The writers in Omniverse, however, stated it was a 'glitch power' that the new Omnitrix doesn't have.
• Tastes Like Chicken: According to Word of God, Goop has flavors. Ben is lime-flavored, Albedo is raspberry, Ben 23 is blueberry, Bad Ben is liquorice, Mad Ben is sour orange, Nega Ben is black pepper, and Benzarro is grape.
• This Looks Like a Job for Aquaman: His usefulness is limited in battle, but he finds practical uses in other areas, such as saving a planet from being split apart.
• Voluntary Shape Shifting: To a point. He can flow through any opening his little saucer can get through.
• Weaksauce Weakness: Take away his saucer, and he's immobilized. Ben uses this to get the Omnitrix back from Vilgax on Primus.

Humungousaur/Ultimate Humungousaur (AF-02, UA-06 ^note )

Humungousaur was sampled from a Vauxausaurian from planet Terradino. A beautiful, mountainous, and lush world, Terradino is home to a vast and varied number of diverse animalistic alien species, many creatures great and small. Tragically, all these different species have not evolved to live here together peacefully. Warring factions in every group constantly seek to wrench control of society for themselves. However, the Vaxasaurians have been able to temporarily restore order through their sheer physical superiority.

Ben 23's version is named Dino-Mighty.

• Appropriated Appellation: In the reboot series, he is given his name by a little girl bystander.
• Attack of the 50-Foot Whatever: Not as tall as Way Big, but his regular size still goes around a Tyrannosaurus rex, and he can grow again to 60 feet.
• The Big Guy: He serves as the replacement for Fourarms in Alien Force . After Fourarms is brought back, both fill the role together.
• Epic Flail: Ultimate Humongusaur has a club-tail like an Ankylosaur, only his has a mace-like spiked ball.
• Everything's Better with Dinosaurs: The only dinosaur-like alien of the Alien Force era, he becomes even more dinosaur-like as Ultimate Humongusaur.
• Evolution Power-Up: In his ultimate state, Humungousaur loses his ability to grow, but he is fixed at his largest optimal size. He also becomes stronger, heavier and gains Gatling gun knuckles that shoot regenerating bone bullets.
• Fail O'Suckyname: It's a good thing a little girl suggested his name in the reboot, because Ben's ideas were 'Gigantigecko', 'Iguana Monster', 'Roar Thing' and 'Mega-Stega Dude'.
• Lightning Bruiser: He's pretty agile for his size, and has been shown doing somersaults and flips.
• Made of Iron: Took lasers and missiles directly and only staggered.
• Make Me Wanna Shout: In the Reboot, hitting something hard enough with his armored tail create a powerful sonic attack.
• Make My Monster Grow: He was initially introduced as capable of growing to 60 feet with additional strength as a result. Then the writers apparently forgot he could do that, and he hasn't done it since 'Video Games'.
• More Dakka: Ultimate Humongusaur can turn his hands into four-barrel rocket launchers.
• One-Man Army: He is one of the best aliens to take on multiple aliens. In Omniverse, he was able to take on a large portion of Ben's rogue gallery all at once.
• Size Shifter: See above.
• Super Strength: Sure, his size should give him away. But even then considering he can raise a house on his own...
• Spotlight-Stealing Squad: The most frequently used alien in Alien Force (after Jetray), and the most frequently used for combat. Whenever there's an uncertain enemy, Ben will most likely reach for Humungousaur. It's averted in the first two seasons of Omniverse, where as part of a Running Gag each time Ben tries to select Humungousaur, the Omnitrix gives him something else.
• Suspiciously Similar Substitute: To Four Arms in Alien Force and Ultimate Alien, as both are the large strength aliens.
• Underwear of Power: In Omniverse.
• The Worf Effect: In Alien Force, Albedo as Ultimate Humungousaur curbstomped Ben as Humungousaur. In Omniverse, Ben easily defeats Negative Ultimate Humungousaur as Feedback.
• Your Size May Vary: Even after Humungousaur stopped using his Size Shifter abilities, he still hasn't been shown at a consistent size. While he never nears the skyscraper size he originally had, he ranges from only a head or two taller than the humans to bigger than a small house.

Jetray (AF-03)

Jetray was sampled from an Aerophibian from planer Aeropela. An oceanic planet completely covered in water with giant spiral rocks protruding out of the sea, Aeropela is constantly visited by fog, rain and hurricanes, as well as the occasional monsoon or tsunami. Aerophibians have evolved to fly, swim and survive in this harsh climate, building their cities inside the planet's spiral rocks. In prehistoric times, their primitive ancestors used their abilities to shoot neuroshock blasts to paralyze and catch their preys. Nowadays, they still possess this ability, but use it more for self-defense.

• Beware My Stinger Tail: Especially when it can shoot neuroshocks.
• Expy: His abilities are exactly like Zok from the Herculoids.
• Eye Beams: And tail beams, too.
• Faster-Than-Light Travel: He can apparently generate his own warp field. Word of God attributes that to an Ultimatrix glitch.
• Flight: Replaced Stinkfly in the Alien Force era as Ben's main flyer.
• Flying Firepower: Can fly at high speed. Can also shoot neuroshock blasts from his eyes and tail.

• Informed Ability: According to his official profile, he can breathe underwater; this was never shown (the only times we see him underwater, he quickly gets out of it).^note
• Batman Can Breathe in Space: A natural ability of his species.
• Put on a Bus: One of four aliens to not appear in Omniverse.
• Super Speed: In the skies and underwater, but not on land.
• Suspiciously Similar Substitute: He replaces XLR8 as the primary means of transport during the Alien Force/Ultimate Alien era.
• Spotlight-Stealing Squad: Derrick believes he is this and it is the reason he was put on a bus.

Lodestar (AF-31)

Lodestar was sampled from a Biosorvotian from an unknown planet. He has powerful magnetic abilities.

• Barrier Warrior: He can create a magnetic barrier in front of him that repels all metallic objects.
• Early-Bird Cameo: In the Alien Force season 2 finale.
• From a Single Cell: He can regenerate from even a single sliver of his body, a power revealed in the aftermath of his body being completely blown apart.

• Incoming Ham: 'LOOOODESTAAAAARR!!'
• Invisible Anatomy: His head seems to be nothing more than a metal ball held up by a magnetic field, but his body comes along if it's moved.
• Losing Your Head: Lodestar's head can be knocked away from his body by a powerful enough force, resulting in some humorous moments where the body aimlessly wanders around for it (with the head itself trying to direct it).
• Pulling Themselves Together: Does it when he gets blown up in 'Ultimate Aggregor'.
• Put on a Bus: He only made three appearances in Omniverse.
• Robo Speak: Like Echo Echo, he has a synthesizer-voice.

Nanomech (Alien Swarm)

Introduced in the movie Ben 10: Alien Swarm, Nanomech was sampled from the Hive, a species of nanomechanic parasite life forms that intended to rule over Earth then. Due to some weird result of the DNA combination, Nanomech retains some human features compared to his natural species' usual state. A living nanorobot, he is incredibly small and can shrink even further.

Ben 23's version is named Teeny-Weeny.

• Canon Immigrant: While the other movie alien (Eon) has been absent since The Movie, Nanomech has made the transition to the cartoon due to the fact that Alien Swarm is canon to the main timeline.
• Cyber Cyclops: Yet another of Ben's one-eyed aliens.
• Flying Firepower: A rather weak one, but he can still fly and shoot electrical attacks.
• Half-Human Hybrid: Compared to the original version of the species he was sampled from, Nanomech possess more humanoid features. This actually makes him stronger than a regular drone of his species.
• Helium Speech: For Ultimate Alien, to go with his microscopic stature. Although this only applies to people larger than he is (Ie humans) to other creatures Nanomech's size his voice is relatively deep.
• Hive Mind: In Alien Swarm, turning into Nanomech made him hear the voice of the Queen. Luckily, he resisted.
• Incredible Shrinking Man: And he starts at about an inch.
• Lethal Joke Character: Much like Grey Matter, he is small and possess weak attacks, but he can be used to destoy robots from the inside.
• Mechanical Lifeforms: Based on a species of nanomachines.
• Silicon-Based Life: Kevin describes the nanomachines as such in Alien Swarm.
• Winged Humanoid: He has four bug-like wings. The show forgot the first time for no apparent reason, but they remembered later.

Rath/Ultimate Rath (AF-39)

Rath's DNA was sampled from a Appoplexian from Appoplexia. A specie of sentient, anthropomorphic tigers-like beings, Appoplexians are Hot-Blooded, aggressive, short-tempered and not very smart, believing you can solve any problem by hitting it (Or, sometimes, just by 'hitting things a lot'). They do, however, possess high durability, as well as ridiculous strength and reflexes.

• Absurdly Sharp Blade: He can cut an entire giant rock in two with just one of his claws.
• Badass Boast: His 'Let me tell you something' speeches are intended to be this. It usually ends up more like parodying it, but on occasions, he can actually give quite awesome ones; the one he delivered to Jarret of the Pantaphage was particularly epic.

  Rath (to a stolen Plumber ship): 'Is that all you've got, stolen Plumber ship? 'Cause Rath's got tons more! In fact, I should give you some of mine so it'll be a fair fight, and after that, everything I gave you, I can take it back again, and make you lick it!'

• Berserk Button: Well, technically, he is angry all the time, but there are two major buttons that make him angrier than usual:
  • Eating. Babies.Is. Not. COOL!
  • Destroying Mr Smoothies.
• Blood Knight: He loves violence.
• Boisterous Bruiser: Every line out of his mouth is in the style of a pro wrestler.
• Breakout Character: Ever since Rath was unlocked in 'Alien Force', he quickly became very well liked and is one of Ben's most used alien forms. He was also the first Alien Force alien to make the transition to the reboot, with Dr. Animo briefly becoming Rath in Season 2, before Ben fully unlocks him in Season 3.
• Calling Your Attacks: In the form of Constellation/Star + wrestling move = 'Polaris Pile Driver!'
• Catchphrase: 'Lemme tell ya somethin', (full name here)...' Word of God states that, in his ultimate form, Rath's catchphrase becomes: 'Lemme tell ya FIVE things, (full name here)...'

• Destructive Savior: His clumsiness and violent behavior often result in property damage.
• Dumb Muscle: Ben get dumber and more aggressive in this form, making it one of his least controllable forms. However, since he usually uses it for heavy combat, he doesn't really mind.
• Evolution Power-Up: In the Ultimatrix simulations, the rage of Ultimate Rath's ancestors is downplayed to prolong his survival and he is less impulsive thusly. He also becomes bigger, stronger, meaner and cooler of all things. He gains additional claws not only on his knuckles, but also on his fingers, toes and elbows, plus three spikes on his hunched back.
• Expy: Personality wise, he's a tiger version of Hulk Hogan. His appearance such as his claws and animalistic nature are reminiscent of Wolverine, directly referencing his first costume◊. Ultimate Rath blends it with Kraven the Hunter.
• Flanderization: Omniverse flanderizes his cat-like aspects via making him afraid of water (even though tigers have no problem with water), distracted by string-like objects and laser pointers, and vulnerable to Nyancy Chan's cat control powers (even though Rook, who is also a cat-like alien, couldn't be controlled).
• Full-Frontal Assault: Ben was not happy to find out that members of Rath's species normally wear clothes.
• Full-Name Basis: Addresses everyone by their full name and title most if not all of the time, most prominently during his 'Lemme tell ya something...' speeches.
• Hair-Trigger Temper: He's practically this trope personified.
• Immune to Bullets: Neither bullets nor lasers can hurt him.

• Jerk with a Heart of Gold: Despite his claims to the contrary, he warms up to the puffball he was escorting, reacting violently when it was eaten.
• Large Ham: It wouldn't be Rath without him shouting 'LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING...' and charging ahead with dramatic wrestling moods.
• Lightning Bruiser: He's extremely strong, can survive dropping from thousands of feet in the air (To the point that he tries to kick the Rath-shaped crater he made) and isn't affected by lasers at the slightest (there are burn marks around him). The only things that prevents him from mauling everyone in sight are his limited intelligence and Hair-Trigger Temper.
• Leeroy Jenkins: Is always itching for a fight and will charge head-first into danger.
• Masked Luchador: In 'Secret of Dos Santos', Skurd fixes the Omnitrix error that made Rath naked, giving him a green luchador outfit and making him speak in Spanish.
• Meaningful Name: (W)Rath, the 'Apoplexian'. Doesn't get much more obvious than that.
• Mega Neko: He looks like a big anthro tiger.
• Metaphorgotten:

    Ocatagon: I think you just and mixed your metaphors.
  • And in 'Above and Beyond'

• Naked People Are Funny: Omniverse reveals that Appoplexians have a sense of shame, and typically wear clothes. Rath doesn't. According to Word of God, Rath is naked because of a horrible error on the part of the Omnitrix.
• The Nicknamer: Calls Vulkanus 'Baby Man', and Seven-Seven 'Karate Man'.
• Nigh Invulnerable: Getting hit with a laser doesn't phase him, nor does dropping out of the sky and causing a giant crater of him knock him out.
• Ninja Pirate Zombie Robot: An alien who looks like a tiger and fights and acts like a wrestler. That sums him up.
• No Indoor Voice: This is pretty much his standard way to talk. He only lowered his voice once in the whole franchise.
• One-Winged Angel: In 'Malgax Attacks', Albedo uses his Ultimatrix to go Ultimate Rath.◊
• Papa Wolf: After warming up to the Tiffin. To the point that he'd knit a sweater out of an alien's organs if it declared war.
• Shout-Out: Ultimate Rath's jacket resembles the one worn by Kraven the Hunter.
• Stellar Theme Naming: His wrestling moves are based off of stars. It is lampshaded when it comes to 'Sirius butt kicking!'
  Manny: Wait, is that serious as in 'very important' or Sirius like the star?
  Rath: THE STAR!
• Spikes of Villainy: Ultimate Rath is used by Albedo and is covered in claws and spines.
• Super Strength: He can throw a tank.
• Third-Person Person: Additionally, addresses people by full name or title.
• Tsundere: It is possibly parodied; he has a soft spot for his friends, but usually blows them off with a 'Whatever!'
  Rath: Let me tell you something, alien partner that I never wanted in the first place, but am begrudgingly starting to like, IN SPITE OF MYSELF
• Unstoppable Rage: Basically exists in this state.
• Weaksauce Weakness: Gone Fishing reveals that Rath, being a cat-like alien, is terrified of water.
• When All You Have Is a Hammer...: Kevin notes that all of Rath's species believes that anything can be solvable by hitting it. According to Rath, this is incorrect- 'Sometimes you just need to hit things a lot.'
• Wolverine Claws: Except he only has one on each hand. In the middle of them. Ultimate Rath has an extra claw on each hand, making him closer to the Trope Namer.
• Wrestler in All of Us: Piledrivers and Armbars galore. 'Secret of Dos Santos' takes this to its logical conclusion and turns him into a luchador.

Spidermonkey/Ultimate Spidermonkey (AF-08, UA-01)

Spider-Monkey was sampled from an Arachnichimp, a species of sentient monkey-like aliens with arachnoid features from Arachscimia. Arachscimia is a jungle-like planet with incredibly tall trees and large, dangerous predators on the ground. As a result, Arachnichimp have to live in the trees in elevated houses to survive.

Ben 23's version is named Mr. Monkey.

• Acrofatic: Ultimate Spider-Monkey is remarkably faster and more agile than his massive size would suggest.
• Breath Weapon: His Ultimate form shoots webbing from his mouth.
• Everything's Better with Monkeys: Even alien ones.

• Evolution Power-Up: Though a drastic change in appearance, Ultimate Spidermonkey's design is fairly weak in Ultimate Alien, being what is essentially just a gorilla with 4 more eyes and spider legs coming out of his back. His design is completely overhauled in Omniverse. His powers are also dependant on which version is in question due to the huge change made to his four extra limbs. In Ultimate Alien, he just becomes stronger and more suspended. In Omniverse, his extra legs become extra arms which add to his strength and dexterity. In both versions, his spinner moves from his tail to his mouth when undergoing evolution.

• Made of Indestructium : Ultimate Spidermonkey is shown to be able to survive a close range nuclear explosion.
• Multi-Armed and Dangerous: Spidermonkey. In Omniverse, Ultimate Spidermonkey has six arms.
• Shout-Out: To Spider-Man.
• Spider Limbs: Ultimate Spider-Monkey trades the additional arms for four spider-like legs. In Omniverse, the spider legs are replaced with gorilla arms.
• Super Strength: Ultimate Spidermonkey is strong enough to briefly trade blows with Ultimate Agreggor.
• Wall Crawl: Shares this power with the Webhead he's based on.

Swampfire/Ultimate Swampfire (AF-01, AF-46)

Swampfire was sampled from a Methanosian from planet Methanos. Methanos is a swampy planet, bathed in stinky methane that would be toxic to humans. Its inhabitants, the Methanosians, originally were carnivorous plants that over the time evolved into humanoid herbivores. They possess the ability to generate methanes and use it to produce fire.

Ben 23's version is named Mr. Mucky.

• Art Evolution: In his first appearance in Omniverse, he was almost unchanged from his Alien Force/Ultimate Alien design. In 'Charmed, I'm Sure', he was redesigned to look more 'fiery'.
• Badass Adorable: Pre-puberty. Just look at his first picture!
• Combo Platter Powers: Basically Wildvine with a touch of Heatblast.
• Cute Little Fangs: Though only visible when up-close (as seen here◊), they're most notable at the start of 'Prisoner 775'.
• Disney Death: Both were briefly lost in the battle against Eon, who turned them to dust, but were 'revived' by Ben 10,000 at the end.

• Evolution Power-Up: Ultimate Swampfire has one of the most drastic appearance changes out of every ultimate form. His vines change into wood and his flowers turn into some volatile blue goo sacs, which extends to his seed bombs. Whatever blue goo courses through him also amplifies his flame-shooting hand vents, giving his flames the appearance of lasers. Strangely enough, despite being made of wood, Ultimate Swampfire's wooden body parts are still conductive.
• Green Thumb: In addition of being himself a plant, he can generate a gas that allows him to control plants. If there are no plants in the area, he can also spawn seeds that produce incredibly fast-growing plants.
• Good Thing You Can Heal: Regular Swampfire tends to very frequently get shredded, mutilated or even blown up to pieces compared to other aliens.
• Healing Factor: He can grow back limbs, his head, and even when he's been cut to pieces. Ultimate Swampfire trades this for enhanced durability.
• Hunk: Post-puberty. Yeah, you know it's true. He's hot!
• Kamehame Hadoken: Ultimate Swampfire can shoot a large blast of blue flames from his palms.
• Knockout Gas: He can release this from his palms.
• Lantern Jaw of Justice: After he blooms.
• Lightning Bruiser: He is physically strong enough to defeat an armored alien in one punch, yet is as fast and agile as a human being.
• Mid-Season Upgrade: In 'Charmed I'm Sure', Swampfire goes through puberty and evolves into a new, more powerful form. His ability to control plants and summon vines now function at will (before he had to spray a plant with gas to control it, and his vines only sprouted up wherever he tossed his seeds) and the vines he can summon are absolutely massive.

• Playing with Fire: He can shoot fire and throw fireballs from his hands.
• Puberty Superpower: Around the age of 16, Methanosians go through puberty and mature into a new, more powerful form. Similarly to Big Chill's pregnancy, this had an effect on Ben's human form, causing him to break out with acne.
• Super Strength: Not the strongest alien in Ben's arsenal, but he still has enough physical strength to knock down armored knights, not to mention causing a DNAlien weather tower to crumble down.
• Suspiciously Similar Substitute: To Heatblast as Ben's fire alien in Alien Force and Ultimate Alien before the alien form returns and they both get used.
• When Trees Attack: Ultimate Swampfire resemble a tree.
• Whip It Good: After his puberty he can grow vine whips from his hands that have burning tips.

Ultimate Alien Aliens

AmpFibian (UA-08)

The last of the Andromeda Five to be obtained. Ampfibian was sampled from Ra'ad, who belonged to the Amperi, a species of Electric Jellyfish-like creatures with powerful electrical powers.

• Electric Jellyfish: An anthropomorphic version.
• Electronic Telepathy: And a very powerful one, to the point it can be used for bodyjacking. Ben doesn't know how to do it, however.
• Fragile Speedster: He is the only one amongst the Andromeda Five to lack any natural armor or exoskeleton, but he makes up for it by being far more mobile and possessing a large number of versatile powers.
• Intangible Man: Both by phasing through matter and turning himself into electricity to travel through circuits. Somehow, he can't phase through forcefields, though.
• Power Floats: He can fly, though not very fast.
• Shock and Awe: The way he usually uses his ability.
• Story-Breaker Power: Ampfibian is Ben's most powerful electric alien, having no set threshold for how much electricity he can shell out at any given moment. It's an actual concern of Ben's as to whether or not Ampfibian is too powerful, given how one of his fears is accidentally killing Kevin (an energy absorbing being) by shocking him too hard.
• Super Not-Drowning Skills: Has the ability to breathe underwater.
• Superpower Lottery: He has the biggest one amongst the Andromeda Five; his electrokinesis has many forms, including Electronic Telepathy, intangibility and straight-up Shock and Awe powers.
• Weaksauce Weakness: Sort of. Despite being a jellyfish-like alien, and being able to breathe underwater, he is vulnerable to water. Word of God is that he can use his electricity just fine if he's fully submerged, but if he's using electricity while entering the water, or is only partially submerged, he will electrocute himself.

Armodrillo (UA-09)

The fourth of the Andromeda Five to be obtained. Armodrillo was sampled from Andreas, a Talpaedan from the planet Terraexcava.

Ben 23's version is named Toolboxx.

• Dishing Out Dirt: Sort of; he has the ability to dig and cause earthquakes rather than directly controlling earth.
• Mighty Glacier: The tallest and strongest of the Andromeda Five when it comes to brute strength, but also rather slow. That is, as long as he is not digging.
• Powered Armor: Appearance-wise, but it's organic.

• This Is a Drill: He doesn't really have one in the original show, but Omniverse portrays him spinning his hands like drills.
• The Worf Effect: In previous appearances, Armodrillo's armor is shown to be a highly condensed metal that is a bare-minimum evolutionary standard for natural talents in digging. In other words, he's been presented as a heavyweight and nigh-unstoppable tank. When fighting Princess Looma, who is half his size, she takes him attempting to impale her with a drill in stride and knocks him over quite easily, claiming that his drill claw 'tickles.'
• Tunnel King: Described by Argit as able to move through earth as easily as we can swim through water.

ChamAlien (UA-32)

ChamAlien was sampled from the alien only known as Prisoner 775 in Prisoner 775 is Missing (although at the end of the episode the Ultimatrix calls it a Marlinisapien). This alien was a chameleon-like alien with the ability to turn invisible.

• Beware My Stinger Tail: It's unknown if it has any properties besides stabbing, but Prisoner 775 threatened Colonel Rozum's life with it.
• Bizarre Sexual Dimorphism: While ChamAlien is lizard-like, a female version is seen in 'Fight At the Museum', and is taller, more humanoid, and has differently-sized eyes/lenses (and an Italian accent, for some reason).

• Invisibility: His primary power, though it's not really invisibility so much as it is blending in with his surroundings like a chameleon.

• Glamour Failure: When invisible, he still casts a shadow.
• Overshadowed by Awesome: By the point Ben obtained him, he already had a large arsenal of powerful aliens who made him look pretty obsolete by comparison. As a result, he was by far one of Ben's least used aliens.
• Put on a Bus: It was planned for him to appear in 'Universe vs. Tennyson', used to spy on Chadzmuth. Script changes removed that plot point and he has no other appearance in Omniverse.
• Shout-Out: Chamalien could be called the shout out alien:
  • His design and powers are similar to Randall from Monsters, Inc..
  • His three eyes are based on the 50s film version of The War Of The Worlds.
  • His grin, powers and colors could be a reference to the Cheshire Cat.
• Slasher Smile: As Ben, anyway.

Clockwork (UA-47 ^note )

Clockwork was sampled from a Chronosapiens, a specie of robot-like aliens with the ability to manipulate time.

Ben 23's version is named Windy-Hindey.

• Ascended Extra: Similarly to Arctiguana, he was first seen as one of Ben 10,000's aliens before being used by present Ben.
• Bling of War: Except he's the Squishy Wizard in practice.

• Fusion Dance: In 'It's a Mad, Mad Ben World', he has Techno-Bubble (Ben 23's version of Upgrade) merge with him, enhancing his abilities. Unfortunately, Maltruant still defeats them.
• Glass Cannon: His lasers can age you to dust in seconds, but one blast that other forms just shrug off is enough to knock him out and break his arm.
• Mechanical Life Form: Seriously, just look at the picture. It can even be merged with a Galvan Mechamorph (Upgrade).
• More Dakka: Can shoot missiles when merged with Techno-Bubble.
• Pensieve Flashback: Another ability of his is casting holograms of past events over the location where they happened, through whomever is around.
• Shoulder Cannon: Has these when merged with Techno-Bubble.
• Squishy Wizard: While his time powers are incredibly powerful, he's rather slow and physically clunky, with one shot from a laser blast being able to take him out.
• Story-Breaker Power: Clockwork's time beams can age anything to dust in seconds, so any enemy Ben hits with them will be killed almost instantly. Hence why Clockwork is never used in combat, unless it's against enemies with similar time powers like Eon. Maltruant, a villainous Chronosapien, demonstrates the full extent of this, being able to freeze time on a whim to dodge attacks, duplicate himself through rapid time shifting, locally control the flow of time for anyone, and see the future.
• This Is a Drill: Gains this ability when fused with Techno-Bubble.
• Time Master: Though he seems to have his limits, seeing how he can never use it to travel through time like Paradox does.
• Time Stands Still: As demonstrated in 'Bengeance is Mine', he can slow down time while moving at normal speed, making him appear super-fast to observers. Ben didn't know he could do it at the time.
• Took a Level in Badass: In Ultimate Alien, he was rarely useful in combat due to his slow speed and his lack of nonlethal options. Omniverse gives him a Time Stands Still ability and the ability to selectively control the flow of time for whatever he shoots, making him a viable choice.

Eatle (UA-42)

• Big Creepy-Crawlies: Looks like a giant rhinoceros beetle. He looks even more like one in Omniverse.
• Extreme Omnivore: Much like Upchuck, he can eat everything, including metal and concrete.
• Expy: His powers aren't really different from Upchuck's; they consist mostly in eating non-organic materials to procude energy attacks from it. The only reason he isn't a Suspiciously Similar Substitute is because Ben was still using Upchuck when he got him.

• Horn Attack: His horn can shoot energy beams after eating something.
• Mighty Glacier: At least compared to Upchuck, he is significantly taller, bigger and stronger.
• The Worf Effect: He doesn't get a chance to do anything in his first appearance before getting clobbered by an Ascalon-powered Vilgax. He is the only alien ever used by Ben to get this treatment and the first alien whose power wasn't revealed in his first appearance (the only others so far being Joke Characters from Omniverse).

Fasttrack (UA-28)

Fasttrack was sampled from a Citrakayah from the planet Chalybeas.

• Expy: Basically The Flash with the design of Blue Beetle.
• Lightning Bruiser: Confirmed to be stronger than XLR8 physically (though it doesn't seem to be that strong, considering what we saw).
• Put on a Bus: Derrick has stated he will not appear in Omniverse. Notable in that two of the four aliens not to appear, Jetray and ChamAlien, have other members of their species appear (or at least a half-member of their species in Jetray's case), while like Spitter Fasttrack's species does not appear at all.
• Super Speed: Though Derrick has stated he is slower than XLR8.
• Suspiciously Similar Substitute: Of XLR8, though XLR8 takes back dominion in Omniverse after Fasttrack is Put on a Bus.
• Too Fast to Stop: He has a hard time stopping if he runs fast enough.

Jury Rigg (UA-48)

• Evil Counterpart: Well, not exactly evil, but he is something of a more mischevious version of Grey Matter.
• Genius Ditz: When fixing things rather than breaking them. A good example was in Gone Fishing, where he defeats a whole army of robot pirates of his own... by breaking several of them and using the pieces to build a new, more powerful version to fight the remaining ones. He also built Ben's motorcycle, the Tenn-Speed. And reprogrammed the Forever Knights' Highbreed Pulse Generator to permanently mutate Will Harangue into an alien.
• Griping About Gremlins: Basically an alien version of a Gremlin. Omniverse accentuates this by giving him an aviator suit.
• Heroic Comedic Sociopath: When in this form, Ben feels a natural compulsion to destroy any non-damaged machine or device that is around him (the first time he used it, he ended up wrecking Kevin's car again). When used right, however, he can actually prove useful by repairing or modifying the machines.
• The Imp: He's less than three feet tall.
• Mr. Fixit: While initially only able to take machinery apart, he figured out how to fix things by the end of his first appearance.
• Super Strength: Not even Appoplexian-proof metal bars are safe from him.
• The Mind Is A Play Thing Of The Body: Jury Rigg is one of Ben's most uncontrollable aliens, and he is often succumbed to Jury Rigg's raw instinct of dismantling things.
• Verbal Tic: 'Fix, fix, fix!'
• Walking Techbane/Walking Techfix: Yes, both.

NRG (UA-16)

The third of the Andromeda Five to be acquired by Ben. NRG was sampled from alien criminal P'andor, a Prypiatosian-B, who was actually a radioactive Energy Being trapped inside a Powered Armor to prevent his radiation from killing those around him. While in the armor, NRG can produce intense heat and shoot energy beams from his visor, but, if the armor is opened, he can unleash his real powers, which include radiation, flight, heat beams and the ability to feed on radioactive sources.

• Energy Being: What he really is. And a radioactive one, to boot.
• Fake Russian: He expresses himself in a Russian-like accent.

• I Love Nuclear Power: The reason he wears the suit; his real form is a radioactive energy being that is harmful to humans by his mere presence.
• Made of Indestructium: NRG's armor, just like P'andor, is basically indestructible. Unlike P'andor, however, the helmet on NRG's armor has a handle instead of being sealed shut, making it easy for Ben to open the suit at will.
• Mighty Glacier: Until he gets let out of his armor that is.
• Powered Armor: Doubles as Containment Clothing, that contains NRG and keeps his radiation from harming others.
• Sealed Good in a Can: Though he can get out much easier than P'andor could.
• Super Strength: Courtesy of the armor.

Shocksquatch (Heroes United)

Shocksquatch was sampled from a Gimlinopithecus from the planet Pattersonea, and was accidentally unlocked by Ben in Ben 10/Generator Rex: Heroes United; Shocksquatch is a Yeti-like alien with electrical powers.

Ben 23's version is named Electricyeti.

• Canada, Eh?: Speaks with this accent, eh?
• Lightning Bruiser: Pun aside, he's rather fast on his feet, and his combat prowess and electrical abilities make him a potent threat.
• Shock and Awe: He can shoot electricity and electrically charge his punches.
• Shout-Out: Bears a striking resemblance to the rather infamous 'pooh bear' uniform for the Boston Bruins◊ ice hockey team.
• Suspiciously Similar Substitute: Brainstorm, minus the super-intelligence.

• You Don't Look Like You: In Heroes United, he looks like a fairly normal-looking yeti◊. In Omniverse, he looks far more◊ like a typical electric character, to the point he resembles a simian Electro.

Terraspin (UA-12)

The second of the Andromeda Five obtained by Ben. Terraspin was obtained from Galapagus, a Geochelone Aerio from Aldabra. Geochelone Aerio are peaceful, innnocent turtle-like creatures who live in harmony with nature. They possess the ability to project powerful wind through their shell, allowing them to fly.

• Anti-Magic: The whole species is immune to mana. Ben never takes advantage of this when facing mana-wielding enemies, not even when traveling through a realm made of mana and fighting enemies whose only weapon is mana.
• Everything's Better with Spinning: How he generates his wind attacks and how he flies.
• Flight: He can fly like a helicopter.
• Flying Firepower: Sort of a literal example, if you consider the fact he can use the same power for both flying and offense.
• Mighty Glacier: Slow but has a powerful tornado attack and sturdiness (not to mention an immunity to magic)
• Series Continuity Error: Oddly enough, he does get affected by Gwen's spells in one episode.
• Super Strength: Strong enough to pick up and throw cars.
• Tornado Move: His typical attack.
• Turtle Power: His name is a pun on terrapin, a term used to describe several species of brackish or freshwater turtles.

Water Hazard (UA-06)

The first of the Andromeda Five obtained by Ben; Water Hazard was sampled from Bivalvan, an Orishan. Orishans have tough exoskeletons that make them nearly invulnerable, and have the ability to control water.

• Jack-of-All-Stats: Amongst the Andromeda Five; he is resilient, but not as much as NRG's armor, fast but can't fly like Terraspin or Ampfibian, strong but weaker than Armodrillo and possesses long range attack but not as powerful as NRG's or as as verstatile as Ampfibian.

• Making a Splash: Can shoot water, absorb it and such.
• Nigh-Invulnerability: Not Ben's most resilient alien, but his exoskeleton still offers him quite an impressive durability.
• Starfish Alien: He is some kind of giant vaguely anthropomorphic crustacean.
• Super Not-Drowning Skills: Bivalvan was once seen going underwater without drowning. Water Hazard never really did the same, but it's assumed he can as well.
• Vocal Evolution: In his debut appearance, Water Hazard sounded exactly like Bivalvan, his genetic source. In later episodes, his voice takes on a deeper tone to set him apart.

Omniverse Aliens

Astrodactyl (OV-28)

Astrodactyl was sampled from an unknown species (which of Word of God states to be a 'Pturbosaurian') from the planet Terradino, the same planet that Humungousaur's species is from. —-

• Breath Weapon: He can fire energy beams out of his beak.

• Flying Firepower: Literally; His jetpack's propulsion can be used for attack purposes.
• Energy Weapon: His signature attack.
• Ptero Soarer: He looks like a vaguely humanoid pterosaur.
• Star Power: According to Word of God, he has some kind of internalized star power, that he can use as propulsion and different forms of weapons.
• Super Speed: He's incredibly fast, due to both his wings and the jetpack strapped to his back
• Suspiciously Similar Substitute: He appears to be one of Jetray via being a flying speed-alien whose powers include firing energy beams.
• Weaponized Exhaust: Which fires a disc of energy capable of stunning.
• Whip It Good: His main weapon is a pair is wrist-mounted energy whips.

Atomix (OV-39)

A robot-like alien of an unknown species. He is Ben's most powerful practical transformation, second in raw power only to Alien X.—-

• Ascended Extra: Like Toepick, he was briefly mentioned back in the original series episode, Ken 10. Ken was disappointed that he was not one of the aliens on his Omnitrix.
• Calling Your Attacks: 'Fissile whistle!' 'Nuclear winner!'
• Expy: Of Goku, and anime characters in general.

• I Love Nuclear Power: A much better-controlled version, compared to NRG.
• Informed Ability: Word of God states that he is Ben's second most powerful alien (behind Alien X) yet he really doesn't live up to the hype. He hasn't accomplished anything really impressive outside one-shotting Albedo'sUltimate Aliens. His only other outright victory was against opponents who were already weak to light and at a disadvantage. There have been several other aliens that have demonstrated more powerful feats than Atomix including Way Big and even Goop^Note . Even in that fight against Malgax, Atomix wasn't shown to be doing anything noteworthy with his attacks having no effect and Whampire being shown to put up just as much of a fight, if not more.
• Informed Flaw: Word of God is that he is at risk of having a total nuclear meltdown if he takes enough damage.
• Kamehame Hadouken: His main attack. He even chants 'HAA-MEE-NA HAA-MEE-NA HAA-MEE-NA!' while forming them.
• Kirby Dots: The presumably glass openings on him show he's full of them.
• Large Ham: Rivals Rath as Ben's hammiest alien yet.
• Nigh Invulnerable: Until he's hit by The Worf Effect in 'Malgax Attacks'.
• Shout-Out: A strange one, too, as his 'HAA-MEE-NA HAA-MEE-NA HAA-MEE-NA!' power-up chant is a reference to one of the catchphrases of Ralph Kramden.
• Story-Breaker Power:
  • Being second only to Alien X in power, this is a given. Despite being his most powerful practical transformation, using Atomix would be just as overkill as using Way Big.
  • Both the Duel of the Duplicates and Galactic Monsters story arcs are wrapped up effortlessly just by having Ben turn into this guy.
  • Averted in 'Malgax Attacks', where he is unable to defeat the Malware-powered Vilgax.
• Super Strength: Able to take out Albedo's recreated Ultimate Humungousaur ...with a single punch!
• The Power of the Sun: Creates a miniature sun, which kills Zs'Skayr. It also stays in place even after Ben changes back. He leaves it in Zs'Skayr's lab, so that even after he comes back, he won't be able to get in.
• The Worf Effect: He is defeated by the Malware-powered Vilgax in 'Malgax Attacks' in order to make the argument that Ben needs Skurd's abilities more convincing.

Ball Weevil (OV-09)

• Badass Adorable: Despite being one of Ben's smallest, cutest aliens, he can still put up a fight with his plasma balls.
• Big Creepy-Crawlies: Although compared to Ben's other insect aliens, he isn't THAT big.
• Four-Legged Insect: He has the appearance of one.
• Glass Cannon: His sticky balls do a lot of damage, but he's still small and fragile.
• Made of Explodium: He spits out sticky balls of silk that absorb things, and then uses them as ammo.
• Ridiculously Cute Critter: By Ben's own admission.
• Shout-Out: To Pokémon, according to Word of God.
• Sphere Factor: Can roll on top of the sticky balls he makes.
• Wall Crawl: It is one of his abilities.

Bloxx (OV-01)

The first new alien unlocked in Omniverse. Bloxx was sampled from a Segmentasapien from Polyominus, a species that evolved to easily hide themselves amongst the structures of their home planet. As a result, their body is entirely made of LEGO-like bricks that can reconfigurate and stretch themselves, giving them shapeshifting abilities.

Ben 23's version is named Build-A-Guy.

• Agony of the Feet: Referencing the meme about LEGO and feet, Ben manages to trip up Khyber, who is currently in the form of a giant monster, by firing a pile of Bloxx pieces at his feet during 'Stuck On You', causing Khyber immense pain so he falls over.
• Arm Cannon: Which uses his own bricks as ammunition.

• Expy: Of GutsMan.EXE from Mega Man Battle Network in terms of design.
• Half the Man He Used to Be: He was cut in half in 'Arrested Development'.
• Healing Factor: He can regenerate from nearly any injury.
• Made of Plasticine: He kind of needs his Healing Factor when his body shatters so easily.
• Our Monsters Are Weird: Again, he's a gorilla made from living LEGO bricks.
• Rubber Man: On account of being able to shapeshift.
• Stone Wall: He's almost used entirely for defense, though he has utilized his super strength on occasion.
• Super Strength: One of his powers.
• Voluntary Shapeshifting: He's basically Plastic Man made out of LEGO bricks.
• Who Needs Their Whole Body?: Bisection didn't slow him down one bit.

Bullfrag (OV-27)

Bullfrag was sampled from an Incursean.

• Attractive Bent Species: To Attea, and it's not hard to see why if you compare him to the other male Incurseans shown.

• Badass Boast: Towards Vilgax's squid monsters.

  Ben/Bullfrag: That all you got? I got snot made of stronger stuff than you! (punches) Don't feel bad. My snot is tough as the rest of me!

• Beauty Equals Goodness: Even before The Reveal, you could tell he wasn't evil based on how tall, muscular, and less warty he was compared to other Incurseans (save Princess Attea). He's basically a yellow-green Buzz Lightyear with no nose and three fingers per hand. According to Word of God, this is because Bullfrag is a genetically optimal specimen of his species, and most Incurseans have very poor diets.
• Cool Shades: Of the triangle variety. He originally wore them to hide his green eyes, but the crew liked them, so they decided to keep them in his normal outfit.
• Dating Catwoman: Due to the influence of Bullfrag's DNA, Ben is outspokenly attracted to Attea in this form...and the feeling is mutual. It would be less Squick-ish if Bullfrag looked Ben's age.
• The Mole: Benmode locks himself as Bullfrag in order to infiltrate the Incursean army as part of his plan to retake Earth.
• In a Single Bound: Though not as high as Crashhopper.

• Lightning Bruiser: In the same veign as Rath and Kickin Hawk.
• Non-Standard Character Design: See above, under Beauty Equals Goodness.
• Overly Long Tongue: As with all Incurseans.
• Paper-Thin Disguise: Subverted. While his Omnitrix Symbol should be a HUGE give away, his suit was temporary modified such that the symbol is hidden underneath similar to Big Chill when cloaked by his wings. His green eyes would also be a giveaway, but they're covered by the sunglasses.
• Rapid Aging: Incursians physically develop much faster than humans, making him look far older.
• Shout-Out: His voice and mannerisms are similar to Sylvester Stallone.
• The Reveal: An Incursean traitor who saves Kevin, Gwen and Blukic from Attea's trap and help them rescue Max and Driba? It's Ben.

Crashhopper (OV-06)

• Big Creepy-Crawlies: He is an alien giant anthropomorphic grasshopper.
• Butt-Monkey: A lot of his first episodes have Ben getting bad stuff happening to him while in this form: He accidentally encased his head in rock when first testing his powers, is the first alien Khyber's pet confronts using the right predator, gets the crap beaten out of him by a Tetramand princess, mistaken for a locust by angry farmers, and the list goes on... he even had a voluntary example, when Ben used himself as a bait in this form to trap the Kraken. Sometimes, you just gotta wonder if Crashhopper's real power isn't to get the crap beaten out of him.
• In a Single Bound: Much like grasshoppers, he can jump incredibly high.
• Shockwave Stomp: He can generate these upon landing.
• Spotlight-Stealing Squad: He is one of the most frequently used aliens in Omniverse that debuted in the series.
• Use Your Head: His head is strong enough to destroy a small asteroid with one headbutt.

• All There in the Manual: Only known through Derrick J. Wyatt's Ask.fm responses and will not physically appear in Omniverse.
• The Ghost: Apparently, Ben isn't even aware the Omnitrix has a Vreedle form and would be horrified to learn.
• Demolitions Expert: His power, which he does 'REAL good'.
• Meaningful Name: A decagon is a 10-sided regular polygon. Fitting for Ben 10.

Feedback (OV-01)

Feedback was sampled from a Conductoid from Teslavorr, a species of living electric cables with the ability to absorb and redirect energy. Unlike other aliens listed in this section, Feedback was first used when Ben was 11 years old, in the time between the original series and Alien Force. He was one of Ben's favourite and most used aliens during this period of time. This was eventually abused by Malware to hurt Ben by destroying the form with his abilities (and couldn't be rescaned since Azmuth programmed the Omnitrix to not absorb Conductoid DNA). Ben was left traumatized by the experience, to the point he actually attempted to kill Malware.

Ben 23's version was named 'Plug Man', but he changed it after hearing Ben's name.

• Back from the Dead: Brought back in “Showdown Part 2” when Ben finally forgives himself for what happened to the form.
• Beware My Stinger Tail: When Malware had him in a headlock, Feedback jabbed him from behind with his tail to break free.
• Electric Slide: Is shown running on power lines to catch up to the getaway car of two robbers in 'Showdown: Part 1'.
• Energy Absorption: He can absorb energy.
• Energy Weapon: He can use the energy he absorbs as a weapon.
• Family-Unfriendly Death: Malware pulls him out of the Omnitrix and he crumbles to dust.
• Flight: He can fly by shooting energy at the ground.
• G-Rated Drug: It's implied that he was this to Ben when he was younger.
• Leitmotif: An electric guitar theme plays every time Ben transforms into him.
• Lightning Bruiser: He's pretty fast and agile, and he also packs quite a punch.
• Perpetual Smiler: He is rarely seen without a cocky grin on his face.
• Remember the New Guy?: He is introduced in the flashbacks as Ben's favourite alien during the Original Series' era when he was eleven, despite never even being mentioned before. Justified in that Ben couldn't use him anymore and swore to never think about it again.
• Shock and Awe: The latest in a long line of electrokinetic aliens.
• Spotlight-Stealing Squad: 11-year-old Ben was quite fond of this alien, using him constantly in the time between the Original Series and Alien Force, even when other aliens would have been a more logical choice. Lampshaded several times by Gwen:
  • Deconstructed when it turned out using him too much might cause Ben to lose control over his other aliens. Then Malware took advantage of it and destroyed the form.
  • Averted with present Ben, as he's only used Feedback sparingly since he regained him. Ironically, in Max's Monster, just when Feedback was needed the most, Ben had trouble trying to transform into him.
• Story-Breaker Power: His ability to absorb energy and fire it back often proves quite useful against Malware by reverting Malware's attacks. Malware eventually uses this to his advantage, overloading Feedback with his own energy and disintegrating him.
  • Ironically, this is the form Ben eventually uses to defeat him.
  • He's also this to V.V. Argost and Ultimate Humungousaur and Alien!Phil. Noticing a pattern?
• Super Senses: Can smell radio waves, apparently via his antennae, as shown in 'Clyde Five'.
• Suspiciously Similar Substitute: A downplayed one of Chromastone as both functioned as Ben's 'energy absorption' aliens and both were also 'killed' at one point in Ben's career.

Gravattack/Ultimate Gravattack (OV-03)

Ben's second new alien to be unlocked in Omniverse. Sampled from an Galilean from planet Keplorr, Gravattack is a small living planet with the ability to open itself in a more anthropomorphic form. He possesses his own orbit, which he has complete control over, granting him gravity powers.

Ben 23's version is named Orbit Man.

• Expy: Of Mogo the Living Planet
• Evolution Power-Up: Gravattack is the only alien form introduced in Omniverse to gain an ultimate form. In his evolved state, he becomes bigger, his gravity powers have completely phased out his legs, and his torso merges with his mouth. He also gains these three orbiting 'moons' that resemble Koffing, Derrick J. Wyatt's favorite Pokemon.
• Genius Loci: He may not be as big as an actual planet (though he is still quite tall), but he's been classified as a 'living planet,' hence his gravity powers. The sphere in his stomach represents the molten core of a planet. And yet somehow his species has a planet of its own.
• Gentle Giant: While not really planet-sized, he is still bigger than Fourarms. However, according to Max in Food Around the Corner, Galilean are well-known for being wise and patient.
• Gravity Master: As a living planet, he has his own orbit that he can manipulate at will, allowing him to control gravity. He can use it both manually, or go in planet mode and cause objects to gravite around him.
• Hoist by His Own Petard: Gravattack specializes in this by redirecting projectiles back at whoever fired them.
• Mighty Glacier: As long as he is not hovering, at least.

• Story-Breaker Power: It's quite possible that he's not used terribly often by the writers due to the fact that his abilities amount to controlling gravity, which, unlike Way Big, who often fights enemies just as big and strong as him or ones that prove they're dangerous, makes him much harder to be defeated in a realistic fashion due to the fact that Ben could just make it hard for them to even move or launch them into space. 'Food Around the Corner' required Ben to be Gravattack for most of the episode; said episode demonstrated that that Gravattack is not entirely invincible, his planetary core can be destabilized, resulting in a massive explosion, but this required flea-sized aliens to pull off and definitely isn't something that can be done on the fly. If anything, this was done as a way to counter his story breaking abilities so that the plot can advance. Furthermore, what can hold him back is if you significantly increase your mass, which can throw off his orbit.
• Super Strength: Expectable when you consider he is a vaguely human-sized anthropomorphic planet.
• Vocal Evolution: In 'Vilgax Must Croak', his voice is not as deep as it was in 'A Jolt from the Past'.

Gutrot (OV-45)

Gutrot was sampled from an unknown species. His innards are comprised mostly of gaseous chemicals, which he can combine into a virtually limitless array of compounds and unleash them in gaseous form from the vents on his body.

• Area of Effect: An actual limitation to his ability; when it can affect everyone around him, it include his allies.
• Blow You Away: This trope is another of his disadvantage, where wind can carry his gaseous chemicals away easily.
• Chemistry Can Do Anything: So long as Ben has a vague idea of what he needs to do, he can come up with a chemical compound that fits the situation.
• Expy: Based off of Koffing, Derrick J. Wyatt's favorite Pokemon.
• Fartillery: Just one method of expelling his gases.
• Friendly Fireproof: Averted; he cannot will the chemical gases to not affect his allies in the process.
• Instant Expert: Instinctively knows how to form chemical compounds as necessary, including their names and specific effects. Points out that he has no idea how he knows this. This contrasts Chemistry normally being Ben's weaker subject.
• Love Is in the Air: He can produce a cloud of pheromones powerful enough to affect a To'kustar.
• Poisonous Person: Through the ability to manufacture basically any chemical compound.
• Story-Breaker Power: If Ben were willing to kill and/or much more familiar with certain chemical compounds, this form could defeat almost anything that breathes. Then again, he had to make sure said certain chemical compounds won't reach those he's not willing to kill first (such as his allies).
• Super Intelligence: A passive superpower. Along with chemical knowledge he casually discusses the implications of time loops and conversates about the reality of Tap on the Head induced amnesia.

Kickin Hawk (OV-11)

Kickin Hawk was sampled from Psyphon's alien henchman Liam during a confrontation in 'Outbreak'. A bird-like alien of unknown species, he possesses high physical abilities as well as a pair of natural blades on his two arms. Despite being of the same species as Liam, he looks very different from him. Word of God states that this is because the species has a very wide variety in plumage, and the king resembles a peacock.

• Blade Below the Shoulder: Liam, another member of his species, is seen with these, and Kickin Hawk has them, too.
• Evil Is Bigger: Inverted; he is significantly taller and more muscular than Liam.

• Kick Chick: He never uses them, generally attacking with kicks.
• Lightning Bruiser: Physically strong, fast and remarkably agile.
• Noble Bird of Prey: This hero form's name is a pun on 'Chickenhawk', and he often screeches like a hawk, so he's likely intended to be one, rather than a chicken like Liam was.

• Vocal Evolution: In “Collect This”, his voice has a higher pitch, making him sound more like Ben.
• Weak, but Skilled: His strength is still above average, but compared to Four Arms, Rath, and Humungousaur, he relies less on brute and strength and more on martial arts. In 'Rook Tales,' Ben even mentioned that Kickin' Hawk is his best hand-to-hand fighter.
• Wrestler in All of Us: Like Rath, he comes prepackaged with wrestling moves along with his martial arts.

Mole-Stache (OV-11)

One of the multiple aliens revealed in 'Outbreak'. Mole-Stache is a mole-like alien of unknown species. Few things are know about him, though, according to Ben, he is rather useless.

• Badass Mustache: His defining trait. See Prehensile Hair.
• Call a Smeerp a 'Rabbit': Ben refers to his species as looking like moles, but they look more like woodchucks or beavers than actual moles.
• Elemental Punch: Skurd bestowed his 'stache with Maces made from Heatblast's body to give this effect.
• Helicopter Hair: This is how he achieves flight.
• Joke Character: Initially introduced as useless. Even after figuring out his powers he still describes himself as 'unsatisfactory'.
• Lethal Joke Character: Turns out his mustache packs a wallop.
• Prehensile Hair: Can use his mustache to, among other things, fly and punch people.
• Quintessential British Gentleman: Speaks like this.
• Shapeshifter Weapon: So far we've seen his mustache shape itself into helicopter blades, a parachute, and fists.
• Super Strength: His mustache is strong enough to briefly lift a truck, although it's clearly a struggle for him.
• Unexplained Accent: Suddenly has a British accent in 'Breakpoint'.
• Unfortunate Names: Sadly not the most well thought-out name.
• Wouldn't Hit a Girl: From a scene in 'No Honor Among Bros', where he fought Yetta, that was cut for time:
  Mole-Stache: Now, ordinarily, I would never strike a lady, but I'm afraid you leave me no choice!

Pesky Dust (OV-11)

Another of the many aliens revealed in 'Outbreak'. Pesky Dust is a fairy-like alien called a Nemuina.

Ben 23's version is named Nighty Knight.

• Dream Walker: He can put people to sleep, then enter and manipulate their dreams.
• The Dreaded: To Khyber of all people. Kyhber immediately freaks out when Ben accidentally turns into him.
• Dude Looks Like a Lady: Ben is male, but the alien looks female.
• Expy: He's basically Tinker Bell if she were an alien. Word of God is he has similar powers to Jigglypuff.
• Flight: He can fly with his butterfly wings.
• Joke Character: Initially introduced as useless, but later shown to have a lot of purpose.
• Lethal Joke Character: Once he's revealed to have Lotus-Eater Machine ability. Ben 23 wonders how Ben could possibly have considered him useless.
• Lotus-Eater Machine: His power is a rare heroic example; he has the ability to put people to sleep, and then enter inside their dreams to manipulate them into revealing information.
• Our Fairies Are Different: Like most things in the show, he's of alien origin.
• Tertiary Sexual Characteristics: Averted: he has long eyelashes, pink markings on his cheek and wings, and has a high-pitched shrilly voice, but he's still a male.
• Verbal Tic: Makes a trilling sound whenever he speaks.
• Winged Humanoid: He has butterfly wings that can fold up into a cloak, similarly to Big Chill's moth wings.

The Worst (OV-11)

The Worst is a yellow fat blob-like alien with a pair of green underwear with white stripes on it. He was unlocked in 'Outbreak'.

• Blessed with Suck: He's indestructible, but can still feel pain.
• Joke Character: He cannot really accomplish anything.
• Healing Factor: When Malice manages to punch a hole in him the wound promptly healed.
• Not Completely Useless: Once he's revealed to be indestructible.
• Stone Wall: He has zero combat ability, but his species is pretty much indestructible. He's actually effective at turtling, as he took a two-hour beating from an Appoplexian with not a mark to show for it before the latter fainted from exhaustion. In 'Most Dangerous Game Show', a female of the species struts across lava like it's nothing.
• Title Drop: Ben said that this alien was 'The Worst' as a comment.
• What Kind of Lame Power Is Heart, Anyway?: For Ben to name this alien that way, he has to be following that trope.

Toepick (OV-20)

• Acid Attack: He can supposedly shoot acid from his fingertips, but this has never been demonstrated on-screen.
• Ascended Extra: Was briefly mentioned in the original series episode 'Ken 10'; He was one of the aliens on Ken's Omnitrix, but Ken had Ben swap him out for Grey Matter, as Toepick was too disgusting for his taste. He finally makes an appearance in the episode 'Special Delivery' in Omniverse.
• Brown Note: Just seeing his face inflicts either a terror response, madness, nausea or all three on just about anyone who sees it. During his debut, he scares Psyphon so badly that the color actually drains out of him.
• Creepy Good: He doesn't look scary at first, but the effect of people seeing his face is... disturbing. To better put it: Toepick's face scared the hell out of Psyphon. According to Word of God, he can't even look at his own face without being frightened.
• The Dreaded: His literal power when he opens the cage on his head.
• Heart Is an Awesome Power: Being indescribably hideous turns out to be a rather useful power.
• Informed Ability: The trivia pop-up version of 'Ken 10' said that Toepick could shoot acid from his fingers. He has not demonstrated such an ability in Omniverse.

• Please Keep Your Hat On: It can be traumatic to others if he takes it off.
• Shout-Out /Expy: To Yukk from the obscure 80s Hanna-Barbera cartoon Mighty Man and Yukk
• Story-Breaker Power: All three time he has appeared, he saved the day by merely standing in front of the villain. The first two times were accidental transformations and Ben didn't even seem to realize who he was the second time. However, this wouldn't work on beings without emotion or beings that are blind. Also, Derrick J. Wyatt has stated that Ma Vreedle isn't scared of him, though he states that she's seen worse.
• Take Our Word for It: His face is so hideous that it has to be hidden behind a cage-like mask. When it opens, it's so horrible that it isn't shown onscreen.
• Vocal Evolution: In 'Something Zombozo This Way Comes', he had a high-pitched voice. In 'Cough It Up', he had a deep, wheezing voice.

• All There in the Manual: His existence is only known due to comments from Derrick Wyatt and Matt Wayne.
• Telepathy: His power is 'sort of' this, according to Matt Wayne.
• The Ghost: According to Derrick Wyatt, he was one of the aliens Ben turned into off-screen in 'Let's Do The Time War Again.'

Walkatrout (OV-11)

Walkatrout was sampled from a Ickthyperambuloid. Ickthyperambuloids live on a planet with naturally occurring sidewalks. Their king walks briskly.

They are also known as Walkatrouts, an inoffensive slang term.

• A Dog Named 'Dog': His name is a slang term for his species.
• Joke Character: Invoked: Word of God jokes that his superpower is being able to walk.
• Slippery Tropes: His body is so slippery, no one can hold him.
• Super Not-Drowning Skills: Presumably, since he is a fish.
• The Load: So far, he's the most useless alien, guess why...

Whampire (OV-48)

Whampire is the Omnitrix's DNA sample of an extinct species called the Vladat, from Anur Vladias and Anur Transyl in the Anur System.

Anur Vladias was a vast, spike-filled, rocky, honeycombed network of underground cathedral cave crypts. The caverns plunge so deep into the planet's crust that they are cut off from any light. All life was purged from the world during the Vladat's extermination by their former slave species. Now, Anur Vladias is itself an undead planet. No life can exist there, not even the hardiest life, not Celstialsapiens, not Ectonurites, not water bears, not anything. So powerful is the undeath of the planet, merely being in its orbit will begin to drain the life force of the living.

The DNA sample was acquired in extraordinary circumstances when Zs'Skayr brought the Vladat DNA source Lord Transyl back to life by using the power he stole from the Alpha Rune.

• Animorphism: He can transform into a bat.
• Bad Powers, Good People: It's still Ben, despite his Mind Control and Life Drain powers.
• Dark Is Not Evil: Despite his appearance and powers, it's still Ben in there.
• Flight: He can fly in his natural form and while transformed into a bat.
• Good Counterpart: To Lord Transyl.
• Horror Hunger: Like Lord Transyl, he has an intense desire to feed on other living beings. Immediately upon transforming, he attacked Hobble out of instinct. He even commented on this side-effect after swallowing a fly.
• Hypnotic Eyes: Can use this in conjunction with (or instead of) his Corrupturas.
• Last of His Kind: Vladats were hunted into extinction by the Transylians before Azmuth started collecting DNA for the Omnitrix.
• Life Drain/Vampiric Draining: Like all Vladats, he can do this, though Ben tries to resist the urge to do so.
• Looks Like Orlok: Despite the overarching Dracula theme, he has no visible hair, long clawed fingers, his mask resembles long pointed ears, and he doesn't have an Ominous Opera Cape. He seems to incorporate elements from both Dracula and Nosferatu.
• Make Me Wanna Shout: He can produce a sonic blast powerful enough to launch an entire crowd off if he tries hard enough.
• Mind Control: Like his genetic donor, he can create Corrupturas. However, he can't control other members of his species.
• Super Strength: Able to send a large mob of mind-controlled Anur Transyl denizens flying.
• Story-Breaker Power: His Corrupturas can take control over any alien except for other Vladats, allowing Whampire to end conflicts rather quickly. Unfortunately, if Whampire times out, then so do his Corrupturas.
• Our Vampires Are Different: Alien vampires.
• Punny Name: His name is a pun on his accent.
• Vampire Vords: Has a stereotypical Transylvanian/Hungarian accent to reflect his vampire basis.
• Vein-o-Vision: Sees this way, at least when hungry
• Weakened by the Light: In 'Blukic and Driba Go to Area 51', Ben accidentally transforms into Whampire, and nearly burns to death, running around in agony until Max taps the Omnitrix symbol, changing him into Four Arms.

Reboot Aliens

Overflow is the Omnitrix's DNA sample of a Cascan from the planet Cascareau. He replaces Ripjaws as one of Ben's original ten aliens for the reboot.

• An Ice Person: In his Omni-Enhanced form.
• Making a Splash: He possesses hydrokinesis.
• Nigh-Invulnerability: His exoskeleton is extremely durable.
• Not Quite Flight: He can propel himself into the air by blasting the ground. For obvious reasons, this limits his flight ceiling.
• Reality Ensues: His basic water blast is absolutely useless underwater in terms of offence, though it can propel him in any direction he pleases in short order.
• Shoulder Cannon: A huge pair appear everytime he uses the Omni-Enhanced form.
• Super Not-Drowning Skills: Can breathe underwater.
• Suspiciously Similar Substitute: He's basically Water Hazard, but with a new name and different species.
• This Looks Like a Job for Aquaman: The reason for him replacing Ripjaws is likely to avoid this, as his set of powers allow him to be useful in more situations than Ripjaws.

Gax is the first new alien form of the reboot series seen that was not displayed before in any of the show. Gax is the Omnitrix's DNA sample of a Chimera Sui Generis from the planet Vilgaxia. Yes, as in Vilgax's species.

• Awesome, but Impractical: Ben's lack of restraint causes tons of collateral damage with both his Super Strength and Eye Beams.
• Call-Back: A callback to when Ben got Benwolf for the first time; he remarks how he should've let Vilgax touch the Omnitrix to obtain his DNA. Several years later, he finally can transform into a Chimera Sui Generis.
  • When the Omnitrix changes Ben into Gax in midair, Ben wonders if Gax can fly. In Alien Force, Vilgax could fly due to absorbing the power of heroes from the planets he conquered. It was also implicitly where he gained Eye Beams, but Gax possesses it naturally.
  • Gax is also heavily based on Vilgax's original appearance before he got cybernetics, including his original coloration for his skin and head tube and mace ball shoulder pads
• Combat Tentacles: His arms can unravel into multiple tentacles.
• Cthulhumanoid: His appearance as a Chimera Sui Generis.
• Drunk with Power: Gax becomes an instant hit with Ben as soon as he sees how powerful he is. Given how Ben has historically favored Fourarms and Humungousaur, it's not a huge surprise.
• Expy: An overpowered alien with Combat Tentacles that Ben falls in love with, but it gets destroyed from the Omnitrix? Almost reminds you of Feedback.
• Eye Beams: Has powerful eye beams that can ignite and outright vaporize objects and easily carve stone.
• Knight of Cerebus: His appearance in the series marks it taking a more dramatic turn.
• Never the Selves Shall Meet: Non-time-travel example: When 'Vil' touches the Omnitrix on Gax, it literally sucks the form off of Ben and Vil returns to his full glory as Vilgax.
• Red Eyes, Take Warning: Notable that, unlike other omnitrix aliens, he does not have green eyes.
• Sealed Evil in a Can: Half of Vilgax sealed within the Omnitrix, althought Gax himself isn't evil.
• Spikes of Villainy: Although he himself is not evil, just his genetic source.
• Superpowered Evil Side: Downplayed; apparently aware enough to give Ben his name. Even though Ben has a notable Power High using him he's just more reckless with him, not outright evil.
• Super Strength: Manages to crack a mountain.
• Super Toughness: Appears to be as durable as Vilgax was in previous incarnations. He also has no difficulty fighting one of Animo's mutants on an active lava flow.

The second new alien form of the reboot series, a being of pure energy given structure through rocky armor plating. He is the Omnitrix's DNA sample of a Fulmini from the planet Fulmas.

• The Ace: So far in the Reboot, he has shown to be Ben's most powerful alien (with the exception of XLRArmBlastDiamondHeat): not only he has strength and durability similar to Four Arms and Diamondhead, but can also absorb energy, create weapons and give a boost to the other Omnitrix's alien.
  • In 'The 11th Alien' ha was able to go toe to toe with Vilgax on his own, something none of Ben's other transformations could (not even when enhanced by Shock Rock himself).
• Badass Cape: When the High Override took control of him, he gave Shock Rock one similar to his own.
• Brainwashed and Crazy: When the Fulmini hone in on Shock-Rock's location, The High Override begins to communicate with Ben telepathically. This culminates in Ben as Shock-Rock becoming his minion, fighting Gwen and Max in his stead.
• Discard and Draw: Even though he's billed as Ben's eleventh alien, he replaced Upgrade in the Omnitrix's loadout.
• The Dreaded: Vilgax is terrified when Ben activates the form, claiming Ben would not only destroy himself but the entire planet. Considering Shock-Rock was able to defeat Vilgax, it's easy to see why Vilgax would want to dissuade Ben from using him. Later, it turns out Shock-Rock himself wasn't the threat, it was that his existence was a beacon for the Fulmini empire which destroy planets to harvest their energy.
• Energy Absorption: He can absorb energy and fire it back at his opponents.
• Energy Beings: Shock-Rock is living electricity with rocky armor.
• Equippable Ally: Before becoming a form by himself, Shock-Rock manifested as enhancements to Ben's other forms, granting them Shock-Rock's powers in addition to their own.
• Good Colors, Evil Colors: He is usually a bright, nice shade of blue. When the High Override controls him, he turns a slightly sick-looking shade of purple.
• Power Incontinence: Subverted; at first it seemed like his powers were beyond Ben's control, but really it was Vilgax scheming with the Weather heads to make him think that so he'd give up the Omnitrix.
• Shock and Awe: He's made of electricity and can use it as a weapon.
• Shapeshifter Weapon: He eventually learns how to shapeshift his arm into a chainsaw.
• Shaping Your Attacks: He can shape his electricity, such as creating a 'bluemerang' out of energy.
• Unwitting Instigator of Doom: Ben using Shock-Rock and flaunting Fulmini energy with his 'Omni-enhanced' aliens allowed the rest of the Fulmini species to detect him and plan a full-scale invasion using the Omnitrix as a gateway.

• Appropriated Appellation: Gwen was the one who coined the name 'Slapback'. Ben didn't like it at first, but eventually, he grudgingly admitted how fitting it was, and accepted it as a name.
• Asteroids Monster: His basic power set is that every time his back is struck he becomes two doubles who are half the size but twice the weight, strength and durability.
• Big Ol' Eyebrows: Which appear to be made of metal.
• Made of Iron: He literally looks to be so and is quite durable. This only goes up the more he multiplies.
• Pint-Sized Powerhouse: At four copies he's basically a bunch of super strong living cannonballs.
• Self-Duplication: Like Ditto and Echo Echo before him with the unique spin that the doubles get smaller but stronger, heavier and more durable. This limits how many he can reasonably make but at the same reduces the risk of copies being harmed.
