Use External Keyboard With Laptop
Rather than swapping out the laptop based on its usage, it’s more effective to just give her use a USB keyboard to use with it. The only time that this may not work is if you’re dealing with an older keyboard – one with the round plugs at the end of its cable: the PS2 port, the PS2 connector, or the DIN connector. External keyboard not working. Most of my USB plug in devices don't work since I had Win7 (starter) on my system. The external keyboard does not work, although it is recognized in the devices and printers window. The keyboard does work on other computers. I also have the same problem with a wired Logitec mouse.

a.What is the make and model of your keyboard and mouse?
b. What is the model number of your laptop?
First let’s check for the device whether it has yellow exclamation mark or red X mark in Device Manager.
Follow this step to do the same:
1.ClickStart, typedevice manager in the Startsearch box and hit Enter.Tabletop simulator animated models.
2.WithDevice Manager open, locate the piece of hardware you want to view the status of.
Note: Work your way through the hardware categories by clicking the [+] icon. The specific pieces of hardware in your computer are listed under the major hardware categories.
3.Once you've found the hardware you're wanting to view the status of, right click on the its icon or text and chooseProperties.
4.Under theGeneral tab, Locate the Device status area for the Devices that is now open for your hardware.
