ever since i tried to install this mod (which never worked btw) I fucked myself and now empire won't work properly. It immediately reboots my computer the moment I get to the main menu of the game. No matter how many times I verify integrity of the game files or uninstall/reinstall the game and try to get rid of the mod files, Nothing works. The game just keeps rebooting my pc upon reaching the main menu. Does anybody know how to fix this problem?

    you need to delete all files in your regular empire total war data folder and reinstall empire to get back your preference empire script file. Should be good to go after that

    kk so there are absolutely no script files in that folder. What does that mean for me? Folder is empty.

    go to quickaccess and type in %appdata% once that folder comes up follow this path appdata/the creative assembl/empire/scripts. Once in scripts, their should only be one folder called 'prefrences.empire script' any other folders delete. Any other folder was probably added by the mod and the reason your vanilla empire wont start

    you prob have to delete a custom user scrip the mod adds, try looking for the preference script in the hidden%appdata% folder. Should work after that
